Resumo: | Many students who complete primary education have difficulties in learning math. Given the affinity that children have with electronics, it is interesting to develop applications that support learning. The objective of this article is to present a case study of software development to support the teaching of mathematics. Technology has enabled the possibility of introducing programming principles in the curricula to encourage students to create their own educational digital games. In the present work, it was developed, in Java ™ programming language, a mobile application for the Android ™ platform, that teaches math in a fun way through gamification elements. This application includes practical exercises of the four mathematical basic operations that are demonstrated through interactive images, animations and educational games. |

Dada la afinidad que los niños tienen con los aparatos electrónicos, resulta interesante desarrollar aplicaciones que apoyen el aprendizaje. El objetivo del presente artículo es presentar un estudio de caso de desarrollo de software de apoyo a la enseñanza de matemáticas. La tecnología permitió la posibilidad de insertar principios de programación en las cuadrículas curriculares para animar a los alumnos a crear sus propios juegos digitales educativos. En el presente trabajo, se desarrolló en lenguaje de programación Java ™ una aplicación móvil para la plataforma Android ™ que enseña matemáticas de una forma divertida a través de los elementos de gamificación. Esta aplicación cuenta con ejercicios prácticos de las cuatro operaciones básicas matemáticas que se demuestran a través de imágenes interactivas, animaciones y juegos educativos.Muitos alunos que concluem o Ensino Fundamental apresentam dificuldades no aprendizado de matemática. Dada a afinidade que as crianças têm com os aparelhos eletrônicos, torna-se interessante desenvolver aplicações que apoiem o aprendizado. O objetivo do presente artigo é apresentar um estudo de caso de desenvolvimento de software de apoio ao ensino de matemática. A tecnologia permitiu a possibilidade de inserir princípios de programação nas grades curriculares para incentivar os alunos a criar seus próprios jogos digitais educacionais. No presente trabalhos, desenvolveu-se em linguagem de programação Java™ um aplicativo móvel para a plataforma Android™ que ensina matemática de uma forma divertida por meio dos elementos de gamificação.
