Multifunctional Resource Room: A case study on the process of inclusion in municipal public schools in São Luís/MA

Resumo: | This article aimed to understand how municipal public schools in the city of São Luís/MA promote the inclusion of people with disabilities through their multifunctional resource rooms. The methodology used was the qualitative approach, where several documental analyzes took place, reflecting different lines of research on this topic. The research results point to a robust legislation on education at national and state level for special education, however, in the municipality in question, few points related to this discussion were found, which hypothetically suggests that the implementation of these policies in schools, too, is absent. And as propositions, pedagogical proposals were elaborated in order to contribute to the reflection of teachers and students, regarding issues related to special and inclusive education. |

La metodología utilizada fue el enfoque cualitativo, donde se realizaron varios análisis documentales, reflejando diferentes líneas de investigación sobre este tema. Los resultados de la investigación apuntan a una legislación educativa robusta a nivel nacional y estatal para la educación especial, sin embargo, en el municipio en cuestión, se encontraron pocos puntos relacionados con esta discusión, lo que hipotéticamente sugiere que la implementación de estas políticas en las escuelas, también, está ausente. Y como proposiciones, se elaboraron propuestas pedagógicas con el fin de contribuir a la reflexión de docentes y estudiantes, en torno a temas relacionados con la educación especial e inclusiva.Este artigo teve como objetivo compreender de que forma as escolas públicas municipais da cidade de São Luís/MA promovem a inclusão de pessoas com deficiência por meio de suas salas de recursos multifuncionais. A metodologia utilizada foi a abordagem qualitativa onde ocorreu diversas análises documentais, refletindo diversas linhas de pesquisa desse tema. Os resultados da pesquisa apontam para uma legislação robusta sobre educação a nível nacional e estadual para a educação especial, entretanto, no município em questão encontrou-se poucos pontos atinentes à essa discussão, o que sugere, hipoteticamente, que a execução dessas políticas nas escolas, também, é ausente.
