Resumo: The resource rooms were created to adapt the paradigm of Inclusive Education, with the main objective of expanding the offer of Specialized Educational Service (AEE) for students with disabilities, so that they, enrolled in regular schools, have real learning conditions. The implementation of this service in the municipal education network in the city of Itabaiana/SE, took place in February 2019. This action was intended to promote assistance for students with disabilities who were already enrolled in regular schools in the municipal network. This study aimed to analyze the performance of elementary school teachers in resource rooms of schools in the municipal education system in the city of Itabaiana/SE. Thus, for a better understanding of the text, he analyzed the guiding documents such as: Declaration of Salamanca (UNESCO) Statute of Persons with Disabilities, and authors Mantoan (2006) Lopes and Marquezine (2012) This is a descriptive, qualitative research regarding the collection and data processing. The information was obtained through a structured interview, consisting of four questions, answered by 5 (five) teachers who work in the AEE. Data analysis indicated the importance of continuing education for these educators, as it contributes to the implementation of new teaching methodologies.

A implantação desse serviço na rede municipal de ensino da cidade de Itabaiana/SE, aconteceu em fevereiro de 2019. Tal ação teve como finalidade promover a assistência para os alunos, possuidores de alguma deficiência já matriculadas nas escolas regulares da rede municipal. O presente trabalho teve como intuito analisar a atuação de professores do ensino fundamental em salas de recursos de escolas da rede municipal de ensino da cidade de Itabaiana/SE. Assim para melhor entendimento do texto fez análise dos documentares norteadores como: Declaração da Salamanca (UNESCO) Estatuto da Pessoa com deficiência, e de autores Mantoan (2006) Lopes e Marquezine (2012) Trata-se de uma pesquisa descritiva, qualitativa quanto à coleta e tratamento dos dados. As informações foram obtidas através de entrevista estruturada, composta por quatro questões, respondidas por 5 (cinco) professores que atuam no AEE.
