Resumo: The objective of this research is to analyze and reflect on how the use of technologies methodologically facilitates the cognitive development of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and its importance in cognitive development and learning. We tried to show how technology helps and can influence the intervention process, stimulating the cognitive functions of these subjects. The results showed that the didactics to be used for students with ASD demands, above all, the implementation of existing technologies by the school to facilitate the teaching-learning of students with ASD. In this sense, the use of new technologies is of great value making a difference in the acquisition of knowledge and social skills, contributing significantly to cognitive and social development.

Intentamos mostrar cómo la tecnología ayuda y puede influir en el proceso de intervención, estimulando las funciones cognitivas de estos sujetos. Los resultados mostraron que la didáctica a ser utilizada para los alumnos con TEA exige, sobre todo, la implementación de las tecnologías existentes por parte de la escuela para facilitar la enseñanza-aprendizaje de los alumnos con TEA. En este sentido, el uso de las nuevas tecnologías es de gran valor marcando la diferencia en la adquisición de conocimientos y habilidades sociales, contribuyendo significativamente al desarrollo cognitivo y social.O objetivo desta pesquisa é analisar e refletir de que forma o uso das tecnologias facilitam metodologicamente no desenvolvimento cognitivo das crianças com o Transtorno do Espectro Autista (TEA), e qual a sua importância no desenvolvimento cognitivo e na aprendizagem. Procurou-se mostrar como a tecnologia auxilia e pode influenciar no processo de intervenções, estimulando as funções cognitivas destes sujeitos. Os resultados apontaram que a didática a ser usada para alunos com TEA demanda, acima de tudo, da implantação das tecnologias existentes por parte da escola para facilitar o ensino-aprendizagem de alunos com TEA.
