Resumo: The present work aims to understand how the process of school inclusion of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) occurs in a municipality in Bahia. The present study is qualitative in nature and was developed at the Maria Isabel Pimenta Municipal School, located in the municipality of Itiruçu, which serves the public in the first stage of Basic Education. The data produced was recorded and transcribed in full in Microsoft Word 2010 and analyzed using the Content Analysis technique. It is concluded that inclusive education is not easy, working with children with ASD is difficult due to the different degrees that exist, but it is possible when there is unity, love, dedication and appropriate pedagogical resources. During the workshops, there was an exchange about the concepts surrounding the inclusion of people with ASD in the school environment.

El presente estudio es de carácter cualitativo y se desarrolló en la Escuela Municipal María Isabel Pimenta, ubicada en el municipio de Itiruçu, que atiende al público de la primera etapa de Educación Básica. Los datos producidos fueron registrados y transcritos íntegramente en Microsoft Word 2010 y analizados mediante la técnica de Análisis de Contenido. Se concluye que la educación inclusiva no es fácil, trabajar con niños con TEA es difícil por las diferentes titulaciones que existen, pero es posible cuando hay unidad, amor, dedicación y recursos pedagógicos adecuados. Durante los talleres se intercambió sobre los conceptos en torno a la inclusión de personas con TEA en el ámbito escolar.O presente trabalho tem como objetivo compreender como ocorre o processo de inclusão escolar do aluno com Transtorno do Espectro do Autismo (TEA) em um município baiano. O presente estudo possui natureza qualitativa e foi desenvolvido na Escola Municipal Maria Isabel Pimenta, localizada no município de Itiruçu, a qual atende ao público da primeira etapa da Educação Básica. Os dados produzidos foram gravados e transcritos na íntegra no Microsoft Word (2010) e analisados por meio da técnica de Análise de Conteúdo. Conclui-se que a educação inclusiva não é fácil; trabalhar com crianças com TEA é difícil devido aos diferentes graus existentes, porém, é possível, quando existem união, amor, dedicação e recursos pedagógicos apropriados.
