Resumo: | The aim of this study was to identify the scientific evidence available about nursing management in the intensive care unit. It is an integrative literature review, with the scope of verifying national and international publications related to the theme, in order to highlight knowledge in the scientific field. 1,867 scientific articles published in the 5-year period were found in the databases, after application of the selection criteria, only 08 articles that constituted the final sample of the research. The managerial actions of the nurse are fundamental to achieve the quality of the assistance provided, there is a challenge in the nurse's performance when considering the political and organizational aspects involved in the managerial models. It is essential that more studies on the subject are carried out to compose the national and international scientific literature. |

Se trata de una revisión integradora de la literatura, con el alcance de verificar publicaciones nacionales e internacionales relacionadas con el tema, con el fin de evidenciar el conocimiento en el campo científico. Se encontraron en las bases de datos 1.867 artículos científicos publicados en el marco de tiempo de 5 años, después de aplicar los criterios de selección, solo 08 artículos que constituyeron la muestra final de la investigación. Las acciones de gestión de las enfermeras son fundamentales para lograr la calidad de la atención prestada, existe un desafío en el rol de las enfermeras a la hora de considerar los aspectos políticos y organizativos involucrados en los modelos de gestión. Es esencial que se realicen más estudios sobre el tema para conformar la literatura científica nacional e internacional. O objetivo deste estudo foi identificar as evidências científicas disponíveis acerca do gerenciamento de enfermagem na unidade de terapia intensiva. Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa da literatura, com o escopo de verificar as publicações nacionais e internacionais relacionadas ao tema, a fim de evidenciar o conhecimento no campo científico. Foram encontrados nas bases de dados 1.867 artigos científicos publicados no recorte temporal de 5 anos, após aplicação dos critérios de seleção, apenas 08 artigos que constituíram a amostra final da pesquisa. As ações gerenciais do enfermeiro são fundamentais para alcançar a qualidade da assistência prestada, há um desafio na atuação do enfermeiro ao considerar os aspectos políticos e organizacionais envolvidos nos modelos gerenciais. É essencial que mais estudos sobre o tema sejam realizados para compor a literatura cientifica nacional e internacional.
