Resumo: Storytelling is an important teaching-learning tool for children's development, as it stimulates children's imagination and promotes social development. This work aims to report the contributions of a storytelling experience about healthy eating carried out in Teresina, Piaui. This is an experience report of actions developed with students from two to three years of age from a municipal nursery located in Teresina. The action developed is part of the "EducaMonte: Approaching health and school" extension project developed by the Multiprofessional Residency in Family and Community Health of the State University of Piauí. From the original story, the retelling of the "John and Mary" narrative of the Grimm brothers was carried out using storytelling techniques and auxiliary resources. The activity was organized in stages: selection of the resources (dramatization), characterization of the characters, construction of the scenario and presentation of the retelling "John and Mary and Healthy Eating" as well as the discussion with the children about the importance of healthy eating. In this way, it is evident that history is an important pedagogical tool and that, although it seems intuitive to do so, it has a theoretical and practical framework to guide its adequate development.

Este documento tiene como objetivo informar las contribuciones de una experiencia de narración de historias sobre alimentación saludable, realizada en el jardín de infantes en Teresina, Piaui. Este es un informe de experiencia de acciones desarrolladas con estudiantes de dos a tres años, de una guardería municipal ubicada en Teresina. La acción desarrollada integra el proyecto de extensión "EducaMonte: Acercar la salud y la escuela" desarrollado por la Residencia Multiprofesional en Salud Familiar y Comunitaria de la Universidad Estatal de Piauí-UESPI. A partir del cuento original, la narración de los hermanos Grimm de "John y Mary" fue releída usando técnicas de narración de cuentos y recursos auxiliares. La actividad se organizó en etapas: elección de recursos (juego de roles), caracterización de los personajes, escenario del escenario y presentación del recuento "John y Mary y alimentación saludable", así como discusión con los niños sobre la importancia de una alimentación saludable. De esta manera, la narración se evidencia como una herramienta pedagógica importante y que, a pesar de la forma intuitiva de hacerlo, tiene un marco teórico y práctico para guiar su desarrollo adecuado.A contação de histórias é uma ferramenta de ensino-aprendizagem importante para o desenvolvimento infantil, pois estimula a imaginação das crianças e favorece o desenvolvimento social. Este trabalho objetiva relatar as contribuições de uma experiência de contação de histórias sobre alimentação saudável, realizada no ensino infantil de Teresina, Piaui. Trata-se de um relato de experiência de ações desenvolvidas com alunos de dois a três anos de idade, de uma creche municipal localizada em Teresina. A ação desenvolvida integra o projeto de extensão “EducaMonte: Aproximando saúde e escola” desenvolvido pela Residência Multiprofissional em Saúde da Família e Comunidade da Universidade Estadual do Piauí-UESPI. A partir do conto original, realizou-se a releitura da narrativa de “João e Maria” dos irmãos Grimm, utilizando técnicas de contação de histórias e recursos auxiliares. A atividade foi organizada em etapas: escolha dos recursos (dramatização), caracterização dos personagens, construção do cenário e apresentação do reconto “João e Maria e Alimentação Saudável” bem como a discussão com as crianças sobre a importância da alimentação saudável.
