Variations in learning styles of students from different knowledge fields: humanity, mathematics, biology and agricultural science

Resumo: The classroom is composed of a great diversity of people with their own cultural background. Each individual has a way of learning and in recent years research that identifies these learning styles have emerged. A bibliographic review, aiming to identify variations in the learning styles of students from different knowledge fields: humanity, mathematics and biology, in order to assist in the development of strategies to make the teaching styles of teachers more flexible in training educational background, aiming at better expectations and future results. In general, the active and visual style was dominant in the exact and biological fields. In the humanities, there was a predominance of reflective style. Hybrid and weighted models with aspects related to the needs of each area can enhance students in the learning process. For teachers, knowing the learning styles of students can help in the development of strategies that increase motivation and improve the outcome of teacher-student interactions and can reflect positively on reducing dropout in technical schools.

Las personas tienen formas diferentes de aprender y en los derraderos años han surgido investigaciones que identifican estos estilos o perfiles de aprendizaje. En una sistematización en molde de revisión bibliográfica, el objetivo fue identificar variaciones en los perfiles de aprendizaje de los estudiantes de diferentes areas del conocimiento: humano, exacto y biológico, con el fin de ayudar en el desarrollo de estrategias para flexibilizar los estilos de enseñanza de los docentes en la formación académica, de los estudiantes con el objetivo de mejores expectativas y resultados futuros. En general, el estilo activo y visual fue dominante en las áreas exactas y biológicas. En las humanidades, hubo un predominio del estilo reflexivo. Los modelos híbridos y ponderados con aspectos relacionados con las necesidades de cada área pueden potenciar al alumno en el proceso de aprendizaje. Para los maestros, conocer los estilos de aprendizaje de los estudiantes puede ayudar en el desarrollo de estrategias que aumentan la motivación y mejoran el resultado de las interacciones maestro-alumno y pueden reflejar positivamente la reducción de la deserción de los cursos profesionales.A sala de aula é composta por uma grande diversidade de pessoas que possuem uma bagagem cultural própria. Cada indivíduo possui uma maneira de aprender e nos últimos anos surgiram pesquisas que identificam esses estilos ou perfis de aprendizagem. Em uma sistematização em forma de revisão bibliográfica objetivou-se identificar as variações dos perfis de aprendizagem dos alunos das diferentes áreas do conhecimento: humanas, exatas e biológicas, a fim de auxiliar no desenvolvimento de estratégias para flexibilizar os estilos de ensino dos professores na formação educacional dos alunos, visando melhores expectativas e resultados futuros. De modo geral, o estilo ativo e visual foi dominante nas áreas exatas e biológicas. Já nas humanas houve predominância do estilo reflexivo. Modelos híbridos e ponderados com aspectos relacionados às necessidades de cada área podem potencializar os alunos no processo de aprendizagem.
