Resumo: | This study aims to present a reflection on some of the main factors that influence the quality of work life of teachers. It is essential that the teacher has a good quality of life at work, this concerns, mainly, the mental health of this professional. This document was created based on a bibliographic review of a qualitative and systematic approach of articles published in the journals platform of the Higher Education Improvement Coordination - CAPES. The teaching activity has been constantly carried out in the midst of stressful psychosocial factors related both to the nature of the role of being a teacher and to the institutional context: such as demands from the “boss”, and social such as: violence; in which the teaching professional is inserted. Man needs work and this is often considered an important factor in increasing the quality of life. However, it is clear that work does not always fulfill this role, which can negatively influence the well-being of the human being, which in turn is disadvantaged by the illness process caused by several factors related to the context of work activity. Thus, the construction of the teacher's well-being necessarily passes through the reflection of his initial desire to be a teacher, and the reasons that led him to not have a good quality of life at work, that is, exercising his profession. |

Es fundamental que el docente tenga una buena calidad de vida en el trabajo, esto atañe, principalmente, a la salud mental de este profesional. Este documento fue elaborado a partir de una revisión bibliográfica de abordaje cualitativo y sistemático de artículos publicados en la plataforma de revistas de la Coordinación de Perfeccionamiento de la Educación Superior - CAPES. La actividad docente se ha desarrollado constantemente en medio de factores psicosociales estresantes relacionados tanto con la naturaleza del rol de ser docente como con el contexto institucional: como las exigencias del “jefe”, y sociales como: la violencia; en el que se inserta el profesional docente. El hombre necesita trabajo y éste se considera a menudo un factor importante para aumentar la calidad de vida. Sin embargo, es claro que el trabajo no siempre cumple con este rol, lo que puede influir negativamente en el bienestar del ser humano, que a su vez se ve perjudicado por el proceso de enfermedad provocado por diversos factores relacionados con el contexto de la actividad laboral. Así, la construcción del bienestar del docente pasa necesariamente por el reflejo de su deseo inicial de ser docente, y de las razones que lo llevaron a no tener una buena calidad de vida en el trabajo, es decir, en el ejercicio de su profesión.Este estudo tem por objetivo apresentar uma reflexão sobre alguns dos principais fatores que influenciam a qualidade de vida no trabalho de professores. É essencial que o professor tenha boa qualidade de vida no trabalho, isso diz respeito, principalmente à saúde mental deste profissional. Este documento foi constituído com base em uma revisão bibliográfica de abordagem qualitativa e sistemática de artigos publicados na plataforma de periódicos da Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Nível Superior- CAPES. A atividade docente tem sido realizada constantemente em meio a fatores psicossociais estressantes relacionados tanto à natureza da função de ser professor, quanto ao contexto institucional: como demandas da “chefia”, e social como: a violência; em que o profissional docente está inserido. O homem necessita do trabalho e este muitas vezes é considerado como um fator importante no aumento da qualidade de vida. No entanto, percebe-se que nem sempre o trabalho cumpre esse papel, podendo influenciar negativamente o bem-estar do ser humano que por sua vez é desfavorecido pelo processo de adoecimento ocasionado por diversos fatores relacionados ao contexto da atividade laboral.
