The contribution of digital information and communication technologies to the teaching and learning process during the COVID-19 pandemic

Resumo: | In the past years, with the emergence of the pandemic caused by COVID-19, the world population used different practices to survive, buy, work, study and others. Care for the virus eradication was and still is essential for the return of social activities. Specifically in the education field, the losses are being alarming, exemplified by students who are on the margins of educational practice. As a way to reduce the damage in education, digital information and communication technologies are used as an indispensable means for the “closeness” to take place between people in the most different spaces, whether in basic education or higher education. In this sense, the respective study analyzes the contribution of digital information and communication technologies to the teaching and learning process during the COVID-19 pandemic. The theme is relevant, as it is about the reality that involves the acts of teaching, learning, as well as researching. The methodological structure is qualitative and bibliographic according to the aforementioned authors. The results show that electronic devices such as computers, cell phones and televisions have become indispensable for the virtual educational meeting and that such technological resources have come to be widely used by the educational community to carry out classes and meetings. Therefore, there was a need to learn how to handle devices and applications. It is concluded that from these educational interactivities developed in current times, they can be in touch with the society in the intention of including different groups of citizens in the Brazilian context. |

El cuidado para la erradicación del virus fue y es fundamental para el retorno de las actividades sociales. Específicamente en el campo de la educación, las pérdidas son alarmantes, ejemplificadas por estudiantes que se encuentran al margen de la práctica educativa. Como forma de reducir el daño en la educación, las tecnologías digitales de la información y la comunicación se utilizan como un medio indispensable para que se produzca la “cercanía” entre las personas en los espacios más diferenciados, ya sea en la educación básica o superior. En este sentido, el estudio respectivo analiza la contribución de las tecnologías digitales de la información y la comunicación al proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje durante la pandemia COVID-19. El tema es relevante, ya que dialoga sobre la realidad que envuelve los actos de enseñar, aprender e investigar. La estructura metodológica es cualitativa y bibliográfica según los autores mencionados. Los resultados muestran que los dispositivos electrónicos como computadoras, teléfonos celulares y televisores se han vuelto indispensables para el encuentro educativo virtual y que dichos recursos tecnológicos han llegado a ser ampliamente utilizados por la comunidad educativa para realizar clases y citas. Por lo tanto, era necesario aprender a manejar dispositivos y aplicaciones. Se concluye que a partir de estas interactividades educativas desarrolladas en los tiempos actuales, pueden estar al alcance de la sociedad en la intención de incluir a diferentes grupos de ciudadanos en el contexto brasileño.Nos últimos anos com o surgimento da pandemia ocasionada pela COVID-19, a população mundial utilizou diferentes práticas para sobreviver, comprar, trabalhar, estudar e outros. Os cuidados para a erradicação do vírus foram e são imprescindíveis para o retorno das atividades sociais. Especificamente no campo da educação, os prejuízos estão sendo alarmante, exemplificados por discentes que se encontram à margem da prática educativa. Como forma de diminuir os danos na educação, as tecnologias digitais da informação e comunicação são utilizadas como meio indispensável para que aconteça a “aproximação” entre as pessoas nos mais diferentes espaços, seja na educação básica ou educação superior. Nesse sentido, o respectivo estudo analisa a contribuição das tecnologias digitais da informação e comunicação para o processo de ensino e aprendizagem em tempo de pandemia por COVID-19. A temática é relevante, por dialogar sobre a realidade que envolve os atos de ensinar, aprender, bem como pesquisar. A estrutura metodológica é de cunho qualitativo e bibliográfico ainda de acordo com os autores supracitados. Os resultados apontam que os aparelhos eletrônicos como computador, celular e televisão, tornaram-se indispensáveis para o encontro virtual pedagógico e que tais recursos tecnológicos passaram a ser utilizados amplamente, pela comunidade educacional para a realização das aulas e reuniões. Para tanto, houve a necessidade em aprender a manusear aparelhos e aplicativos.
