The use of different methodologies in the teaching of microbiology: A systematic literature review

Resumo: Microbiology is the science that studies microorganisms and their biological activities. Because they are microscopic organisms, it is a complex and abstract theme. Thus, the practical approach of this content is of paramount importance, with the use of various didactic methodologies. Thus, it is perceived that this subject requires a special look of the teachers.  It is necessary to develop methodological strategies that encourage the critical sense of the student and stimulate learning. In view of this, this article aimed to present a systematic review of the literature on the use of different methodologies in the teaching of microbiology In order to identify research contributions related to this issue. The survey was carried out in the Google Scholar and Scielo databases. 8 relevant papers were selected. The results obtained showed the importance of using innovaite methodologies. Therefore, is stands out the need of the teacher adopt different methodologies in teaching of microbiology prioritizing an meaningful learning.

Debido a que son organismos microscópicos, es un tema complejo y abstracto. Por lo tanto, el enfoque práctico de este contenido es de suma importancia, con el uso de varias metodologías didácticas. Por lo tanto, se percibe que este tema requiere una mirada especial de los docentes. Es necesario desarrollar estrategias metodológicas que fomenten el sentido crítico del estudiante y estimulen el aprendizaje. En vista de esto, este artículo tuvo como objetivo presentar una revisión sistemática de la literatura sobre el uso de diferentes metodologías en la enseñanza de la microbiología, para identificar contribuciones de investigación relacionadas con estos temas.  La encuesta se realizó en las bases de datos de Google Académico y Scielo. Se seleccionaron 8 artículos relevantes. Los resultados obtenidos mostraron la importancia de utilizar metodologías innovadoras. Por lo tanto, destacamos la necesidad de que los docentes adopten diferentes metodologías en la enseñanza de la microbiología, priorizando el aprendizaje significativo.A microbiologia é a ciência que estuda os microrganismos e suas atividades biológicas. Por se tratar de organismos microscópicos, é um tema complexo e abstrato. Desse modo é de suma importância a abordagem prática desse conteúdo, com o uso de várias metodologias didáticas. Assim, percebe-se que esse assunto, exige um olhar especial dos docentes. É necessário desenvolver estratégias metodológicas que incentive o senso crítico do aluno e estimule a aprendizagem. Diante disso, este artigo teve como objetivo apresentar uma revisão sistemática de literatura referente ao uso de diferentes metodologias no ensino de microbiologia, a fim de, identificar as contribuições de pesquisas relacionadas a esse assunto. O levantamento foi realizado nas bases de dados Google Acadêmico e Scielo. Foram selecionados 8 trabalhos relevantes. Os resultados obtidos mostraram a importância da utilização de metodologias inovadoras.
