Resumo: Nursing professionals have encountered many adversities in promoting care for autistic children and adolescents. This study aims to understand the challenges and potential of nursing in the care of autistic children and adolescents and the difficulties faced by these patients in terms of health care, based on the nursing team in the public health context. This is an integrative literature review, with a qualitative approach, with the purpose of verifying the types of care, in the different spectrums that the disorder presents and the rights of these individuals, according to the laws. unusual behaviors, such as not liking to interact, being agitated or repeating movements, behaviors found mainly in the results showed that children with ASD have language and communication disorders, difficulty in social interaction and attachment to fixed routines and repetitive and stereotyped behaviors, and for reasons like this, the nurse has a fundamental role in this scenario, since this professional is the gateway to the entire hospital environment, so it is essential that they are professionals trained to perform nursing care for these patients and their entire family. It is important to note that, in order to have qualified professionals, it is also necessary for public health, the Unified Health System (SUS), to be open to these children and adolescents with an entire team available.

Este estudio tiene como objetivo comprender los desafíos y potencialidades de la enfermería en el cuidado de niños y adolescentes autistas y las dificultades enfrentadas por estos pacientes en términos de atención a la salud, con base en el equipo de enfermería en el contexto de la salud pública. Se trata de una revisión integrativa de la literatura, con abordaje cualitativo, con el objetivo de verificar los tipos de atención, en los diferentes espectros que presenta el trastorno y los derechos de estos individuos, de acuerdo con las leyes. comportamientos inusuales, como no gustar de interactuar, estar agitado o repetir movimientos, comportamientos encontrados principalmente en los resultados mostraron que los niños con TEA tienen trastornos del lenguaje y la comunicación, dificultad en la interacción social y apego a rutinas fijas y comportamientos repetitivos y estereotipados, y por Por este motivo, el enfermero tiene un papel fundamental en este escenario, ya que este profesional es la puerta de entrada a todo el entorno hospitalario, por lo que es fundamental que sean profesionales capacitados para realizar los cuidados de enfermería a estos pacientes y a toda su familia. Es importante señalar que, para tener profesionales calificados, también es necesario que la salud pública, el Sistema Único de Salud (SUS), esté abierto a esos niños y adolescentes con todo un equipo disponible.Os profissionais de enfermagem têm encontrado muitas adversidades na promoção aos cuidados a crianças e adolescentes autistas. Econhecer os desafios e potencialidades da enfermagem no cuidado com crianças e adolescentes autistas e as dificuldades enfrentadas por esses pacientes, perante a assistência em saúde, tendo como base a equipe de enfermagem no âmbito da saúde pública. Trata-se de uma Revisão Integrativa da literatura, de abordagem qualitativa, com a finalidade de verificar quais os tipos de cuidados, nos diferentes espectros que o transtorno apresenta e os direitos destes indivíduos, de acordo com as leis. incomuns, como não gostar de interagir, ficar agitado ou repetir movimentos, comportamentos encontrados principalmente em os resultados mostraram que crianças com TEA tem alteração na linguagem e comunicação, dificuldade na interação social e apego a rotinas fixas e comportamentos repetitivos e estereotipados, e por motivos como este o enfermeiro tem papel fundamental nesse cenário, uma vez que, este profissional é a porta de entrada para todo o âmbito hospitalar, por isso se torna prescindível que sejam profissionais capacitados para executar cuidados de enfermagem para esses pacientes e toda a sua família.
