Information and Communication Technologies in state public schools in the city of Coremas-PB

Resumo: | Currently, technological elements are present in every conceivable environment in society, growing exponentially also in the educational field. The insertion of technology in the school still faces some resistance due to the lack of technical preparation of the users of these resources. Thus, this research aims to present an overview of the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) in schools in the state school system in the city of Coremas-PB. Another issue raised was the verification of the possibility of these schools providing a basic computer course, using the physical and human resources existing in the institutions themselves. The research had as universe of analysis to the state schools that work in the city of Coremas. The study used field research of the descriptive type with a qualitative-quantitative approach. In view of what was raised, it was concluded that despite the fact that schools have sufficient technological apparatus to promote teaching through ICTs, the deficiency detected was in the human issue, since the teachers did not have sufficient technical knowledge to operationalize the available technological resources, as well becoming an obstacle to its use. Given the above, it was proposed that schools use their own computer labs and IT support staff to offer a basic computer course to the institution's teachers, thus enabling the future transmission of knowledge to students through these means considered more attractive. and consequently provide more meaningful learning to that student class. |

La inserción de tecnología en la escuela aún enfrenta cierta resistencia debido a la falta de preparación técnica de los usuarios de estos recursos. Por lo tanto, esta investigación tiene como objetivo presentar una visión general del uso de las Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación (TIC) en las escuelas del sistema escolar estatal de la ciudad de Coremas-PB. Otra cuestión planteada fue la verificación de la posibilidad de que estas escuelas brinden un curso básico de computación, utilizando los recursos físicos y humanos existentes en las propias instituciones. La investigación tuvo como universo de análisis a las escuelas estatales que trabajan en la ciudad de Coremas. El estudio utilizó investigación de campo del tipo descriptivo con un enfoque cualitativo-cuantitativo. En vista de lo que se planteó, se concluyó que, aunque las escuelas tienen un aparato tecnológico suficiente para promover la enseñanza a través de las TIC, la deficiencia detectada se debió al problema humano, ya que los docentes tampoco tenían el conocimiento técnico suficiente para poner en funcionamiento los recursos tecnológicos disponibles. convirtiéndose en un obstáculo para su uso. Teniendo en cuenta lo anterior, se propuso que las escuelas utilicen sus propios laboratorios de computación y personal de soporte de TI para ofrecer un curso básico de computación a los maestros de la institución, permitiendo así la transmisión futura de conocimiento a los estudiantes a través de estos medios considerados más atractivos. y, en consecuencia, proporcionar un aprendizaje más significativo a esa clase de estudiantes.Atualmente os elementos tecnológicos estão presentes em todos os ambientes imagináveis da sociedade, crescendo de forma exponencial também no âmbito educacional. A inserção da tecnologia na escola ainda passa por algumas resistências pela falta de preparo técnico dos usuários desses recursos. Assim a presente pesquisa tem como finalidade apresentar um panorama sobre a utilização das Tecnologias da Informação e Comunicação (TICs) nas escolas da rede estadual de ensino da cidade de Coremas-PB. Mais uma questão levantada foi à verificação da possibilidade dessas escolas proporcionarem um curso de informática básica, utilizando os recursos físicos e humanos existentes nas próprias instituições. A pesquisa teve como universo de análise às escolas estaduais que funcionam na cidade de Coremas. O estudo se valeu de pesquisa de campo do tipo descritiva com abordagem qualitativa-quantitativa. À vista do que foi levantando, concluiu-se que apesar das escolas possuírem aparato tecnológico suficiente para promoção do ensino através das TICs, a deficiência detectada foi na questão humana, pois os docentes não possuíam conhecimentos técnicos suficientes para operacionalizar os recursos tecnológicos disponíveis, assim tornando-se um entrave para seu uso.
