Verification of the main types of conditions of existing taxes in the city of Theofilo Otoni

Resumo: The topographical irregularity of the Teófilo Otoni region is one of the main reasons for the high index of contention use. Considering this factor, a study was carried out to collect data on the types of slope contentions existing in the city of Teófilo Otoni - MG, evaluating the constructive methods, execution and their effectiveness. The focus of the surveys was directed to containments existing in the vicinity of the central area of the city. Technical visits were carried out in several places where there are restraints, thus photographing and cataloging. It was noticed that the use of containment when well executed and of great importance for slope stability, but when aligned with the implantation of an efficient and adequate drainage system for each case. It was also observed that the association of more than one type of containment is particularly important, especially when it is a slope of high altitudes.

En este sentido, se ha elaborado un estudio para recoger datos sobre los tipos de contenciones de taludes existentes en la ciudad de Teófilo Otoni - MG, evaluando los métodos constructivos, ejecución y su eficacia. El foco de las investigaciones fue dirigido a las contenciones existentes en las cercanías del área central de la ciudad. Se realizaron visitas técnicas en varios lugares donde existen contenciones, así fotografiando y catalogando. Se percibió que el uso de contención cuando bien ejecutada y de gran importancia para estabilidad del talud, pero cuando se alinea con la implantación de un sistema de drenaje eficiente y adecuado para cada caso. Se observó también que y de estrecha importancia la asociación de más de un tipo de contención, principalmente cuando se trata de un talud de altas alturas.A irregularidade topográfica da região de Teófilo Otoni é um dos principais motivos do alto índice do uso de contenções. Tendo em vista esse fator, foi elaborado um estudo para coletar dados sobre os tipos de contenções de taludes existente na cidade de Teófilo Otoni – MG, avaliando os métodos construtivos, execução e sua eficácia. O foco das pesquisas foi direcionado para as contenções existentes nas proximidades da área central da cidade. Foram realizadas visitas técnicas em vários locais onde existem contenções, assim fotografando e catalogando. Percebeu – se que o uso de contenção quando bem executada e de grande importância para estabilidade do talude, mas quando alinhada com a implantação de um sistema de drenagem eficiente e adequado para cada caso.
