Abordagem da educação ambiental nas escolas públicas do município de União – Piauí, Brasil, no contexto da pandemia da Covid-19

Resumo: | The school becomes an ideal environment for carrying out theoretical-practical activities in order to form critical and ecologically aware generations. Given this statement, Environmental Education enables the construction of the individual's ecological thinking with the perspective of changing attitudes and practices in relation to environmental conservation. This article aims to evaluate the Environmental Education actions implemented in schools in the municipal education network of União, Piauí, Brazil, during the Covid-19 pandemic. The actions developed in municipal schools follow the notice of the State Secretariat for the Environment and Water Resources of Piauí, for qualification and postulation regarding the certification of the Environmental Seal in 2021. The study had a descriptive/qualitative approach through a research of the legal instruments sanctioned by the Municipal Executive Branch, available on the official website of the Municipal Government of União-PI, in addition to consultations in the scientific literature, which deals with specific legislation on Ecological ICMS, and official information from the Municipal Department of Education. A schedule was prepared with a description of the following actions carried out in 2021: continuing training course for teachers in the municipal education network, focusing on Environmental Education; development of interdisciplinary projects, involving socio-environmental themes; holding Municipal Environment Week; and the distribution and planting of native seedlings. The actions followed the Covid-19 protocol. It is expected that the educational activities have contributed to the construction of knowledge and changes in students' behavior and raised awareness about environmental conservation. |

Perante tal afirmação a Educação Ambiental possibilita a construção do pensamento ecológico do indivíduo com a perspectiva de mudanças de atitudes e práticas em relação à conservação do meio ambiente. O presente artigo tem por objetivo avaliar as ações de Educação Ambiental implementadas nas escolas da rede municipal de educação de União, Piauí, Brasil, durante a pandemia da Covid-19. As ações desenvolvidas nas escolas municipais seguem o edital da Secretaria Estadual do Meio Ambiente e Recursos Hídricos do Piauí, para habilitação e postulação relativas à certificação do Selo Ambiental em 2021. O estudo teve uma abordagem descritiva/qualitativa mediante uma pesquisa dos instrumentos legais sancionados pelo Poder Executivo Municipal, disponíveis no site oficial da Prefeitura Municipal de União-PI, além de consultas na literatura científica, que trata da legislação específica sobre ICMS Ecológico, e informações oficiais da Secretaria Municipal de Educação. Elaborou-se um cronograma com a descrição das seguintes ações realizadas em 2021: curso de formação continuada para docentes da rede municipal de ensino, com abordagem sobre a Educação Ambiental; desenvolvimento de projetos interdisciplinares, envolvendo temáticas socioambientais; realização da Semana Municipal de Meio Ambiente; e a distribuição e plantio de mudas nativas. As ações obedeceram ao protocolo de enfretamento da Covid-19. Espera-se que as atividades educativas tenham contribuído na construção do conhecimento e na mudança de comportamento dos estudantes e despertado a sensibilidade sobre a conservação do meio ambiente.La escuela se convierte en un ambiente ideal para la realización de actividades teórico – prácticas a fin de formar generaciones críticas y conscientes ecológicamente. Ante esa afirmación, la Educación Ambiental posibilita la construcción del pensamiento ecológico de una persona desde la perspectiva de cambios actudinales y prácticas con respecto a la conservación del entorno. El presente artículo, evalua las acciones de Educación Ambiental en las escuelas de la red municipal de educación de União-Piauí, Brasil durante la pandemia de Covid–19. Las acciones desarrolladas en las escuelas municipales, siguen el edital de la Secretaría Estatal de Medio Ambiente y Recursos Hídricos de Piauí para habilitación y postulación al Sello Ambiental 2021. El estudio tuvo un abordaje descriptivo/ qualitativo a través de la investigación de instrumentos legales sancionados por el Poder Ejecutivo Municipal disponibles en el sitio oficial de la Alcaldía Municipal de União-Piauí, además de consultas a la literatura científica, acerca de la legislación específica sobre ICMS ecológico e informaciones oficiales en la Secretaría Municipal de Educación. Se elaboró un cronograma con la descripción de las siguientes acciones llevadas a cabo en el 2021: curso de formación continuada para docentes de la red municipal de enseñanza con enfoque en la Educación Ambiental; desarrollo de proyectos interdisciplinarios involucrando temáticas socioambientales; realización de la Semana Municipal del Medio Ambiente; distribución y siembra de plántulas de especies nativas. Las acciones obedecieron al protocolo de enfrentamiento a la Covid–19.
