Resumo: This study aims to present the stages of production and execution of a didactic activity that can contribute to the learning of students in the 3rd year of high school. The intention is not just to be one more didactic material among the many existing ones, but it constitutes a work, that if used, can contribute to the appropriation of necessary skills to understand the financial and financial market operations existing in its daily life. The study was carried out 96 students and 66 teachers, where the following theories and methodologies were considered: didactic engineering, microgenetic analysis and the teaching of compound interest. Throughout the approach, care was taken to use elementary mathematics, thus facilitating its access to high school students. As a main result, the use of the didactic sequence was found to be favorable, as it enabled students to discover and construct concepts in Financial Mathematics, particularly compound interest.

La intención no se limita a ser un material didáctico más entre los muchos existentes, sino que constituye una obra que, de ser utilizada, puede contribuir a la apropiación de las habilidades necesarias para comprender el funcionamiento del mercado financiero y financiero existente en su día a día. El estudio se realizó con 96 estudiantes y 66 docentes, donde se consideraron las siguientes teorías y metodologías: ingeniería didáctica, análisis microgenético y la enseñanza de interés compuesto. En todo el enfoque, se tuvo cuidado de utilizar las matemáticas elementales, facilitando así su acceso a los estudiantes de secundaria. Como resultado principal, se encontró que el uso de la secuencia didáctica fue favorable, ya que permitió a los estudiantes descubrir y construir conceptos en Matemática Financiera, particularmente de interés compuesto.O presente estudo tem como objetivo apresentar as etapas de produção e execução de uma atividade didática que possa contribuir para o aprendizado dos alunos do 3º ano do ensino médio. A intenção não se resume apenas em ser mais um material didático dentre os muitos existentes, mas se constitui em uma obra, que se utilizada, possa contribuir para a apropriação de habilidades necessárias para compreender as operações financeiras e de mercado financeiro existentes no seu cotidiano. O estudo foi realizado 96 alunos e 66 professores, onde foram consideradas as seguintes teorias e metodologias: engenharia didática, análise microgenética e o ensino de juros compostos.
