Resumo: The general objective of the article is to present the socioeconomic data of the students of the Brazil Test 2015 of the 5th year of the State of Rio Grande do Sul. The specific objectives are to illustrate the data by means of graphs and to analyze the influence of socioeconomic conditions on the habits of students reading. The methodology is quantitative / qualitative and the data source is the contextual questionnaire of the National System of Evaluation of Basic Education (SAEB-2015), of the 5th year of public schools in the State of Rio Grande do Sul. Data were collected from the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (INEP). From the sociocultural data, it was verified that the predominant ethnicity in the State is white with 48% (27,841) of the students, due to the European immigrant process. And, among the quantified socioeconomic data it is highlighted that, most of the families can obtain basic utensils, however, there are restrictions in the acquisition. Finally, it was inferred that the influence of the family and the quality of family life creates perspectives and thus the development of language and the logical-mathematical reasoning that are instigated in children from the play.

Los objetivos específicos son ilustrar los datos a través de gráficos y analizar la influencia de las condiciones socioeconómicas en lectura de estudiantes La metodología es cuantitativa y cualitativa y la fuente de datos es el cuestionario contextual del Sistema Nacional de Evaluación de la Educación Básica (SAEB-2015), del quinto grado de las escuelas públicas del Estado de Rio Grande do Sul. Los datos se obtuvieron de Instituto Nacional de Estudios e Investigación Educativa Anísio Teixeira (INEP). Se encontró a partir de los datos socioculturales que la etnia predominante en el estado es blanca con el 48% (27,841) de estudiantes, debido al proceso de inmigración europeo. Y, entre los datos socioeconómicos cuantificados, se destaca que la mayoría de las familias pueden obtener utensilios básicos, sin embargo, existen restricciones en la adquisición. Finalmente, se infirió que la influencia de la familia y la calidad de la vida familiar crea perspectivas y de ahí deriva el desarrollo del lenguaje y el razonamiento lógico-matemático instigado en los niños a partir de motivaciones y prácticas lúdicas que comienzan en el entorno familiar.O objetivo geral do artigo é apresentar os dados socioeconômicos dos alunos respondentes da Prova Brasil de 2015 do 5º ano do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul. Os objetivos específicos são ilustrar os dados por meio de gráficos e analisar a influência das condições socioeconômicas nos hábitos de leitura dos estudantes. A metodologia é quanti/qualitativa e a fonte de dados é o questionário contextual do Sistema Nacional de Avaliação da Educação Básica (SAEB-2015), do 5º ano das escolas públicas do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul. Os dados foram coletados da Plataforma do Instituto Nacional de Estudos e Pesquisas Educacionais Anísio Teixeira (INEP). Constatou-se, a partir dos dados socioculturais, que a etnia predominante no Estado é a branca com 48% (27.841) dos estudantes, decorrente do processo imigratório europeu. E, entre os dados socioeconômicos quantificados destaca-se que, a maior parte das famílias conseguem obter utensílios básicos, no entanto, há restrições na aquisição.
