Food consumption of users of a PHC unit in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic

Resumo: This is a quantitative research to find out if the COVID-19 pandemic has had an impact on the type of food consumed by users of a primary health care unit of a certain population in the municipality of Mossoró-RN. The work was carried out in 5 stages: definition of the guiding question, definition of hypotheses, definition of the research instrument, data collection and analysis of the results obtained and comparison with other independent studies on changes in the dietary profile during the COVID-19 pandemic. It was verified that the pandemic may have had an unfavorable impact on the food consumption of the interviewed population, pointing out a eating behavior thatoffers health risks, contributing to the emergence of chronic non-communicable diseases (NCDs).

El trabajo se realizó en cinco etapas: definición de la pregunta orientadora, definición de hipótesis, definición del instrumento de investigación, recolección de datos y análisis de los resultados obtenidos y comparación con otros estudios independientes sobre cambios en el perfil dietético durante la pandemia del COVID-19 pandemia. Se verificó que la pandemia pudo haber tenido un impacto desfavorable en el consumo de alimentos de la población entrevistada, señalando un comportamiento alimentario que ofrece riesgos para la salud, contribuyendo para la aparición de enfermedades crónicas no transmisibles (ENT).Trata-se de uma pesquisa quantitativa para saber se a pandemia do COVID-19 tem provocado impactos no tipo de alimentos consumidos por usuários de uma unidade de atenção primária em saúde de uma determinada população no município de Mossoró-RN. A condução do trabalho foi realizada em cinco etapas: definição da questão norteadora, definição das hipóteses, definição do instrumento de pesquisa, coleta de dados e análise dos resultados obtidos e comparação com outros estudos independentes sobre mudanças no perfil alimentar durante a pandemia do COVID-19.
