A pedagogical proposal in the preparation and administration of medicines and solutions: articulating nursing and mathematics in teaching

Resumo: The aim of this study is to describe a pedagogical proposal on the preparation and administration of medicines and solutions relating the areas of knowledge of Nursing and Mathematics. This is a qualitative, descriptive study related to a pedagogical proposal based on two teaching strategies and a pedagogical resource related to the preparation and administration of medicines and solutions, relating the knowledge of the areas of Nursing and Mathematics. This pedagogical proposal was elaborated by students of the Doctoral course in Teaching, in the discipline of Teaching Strategies II. The activity in the discipline occurred through a work, integrating the areas of action of doctoral candidates in the context of the classroom. It was verified the importance of integration between the areas of Nursing and Mathematics and the use of mechanisms that can link the context of students and the teaching and learning processes in academic training on the preparation and administration of medicines and solutions. Thus, it is relevant to insert differentiated teaching strategies aimed at providing aspects of interaction and dialogue between students and teachers, stimulating the learning of the contents of the discipline and professional training.

Se trata de un estudio cualitativo, descriptivo, relacionado con una propuesta pedagógica basada en dos estrategias de enseñanza y un recurso pedagógico relacionado con la preparación y administración de medicamentos y soluciones, relacionando el conocimiento de las áreas de Enfermería y Matemáticas. Esta propuesta pedagógica fue elaborada por estudiantes del curso de Doctorado en Docencia, en la disciplina de Estrategias Docentes II. La actividad en la disciplina se produjo a través de un trabajo, integrando las áreas de actuación de los doctorandos en el contexto del aula. Se verificó la importancia de la integración entre las áreas de Enfermería y Matemáticas y el uso de mecanismos que puedan vincular el contexto de los alumnos y los procesos de enseñanza y aprendizaje en la formación académica sobre la preparación y administración de medicamentos y soluciones. Así, es relevante insertar estrategias de enseñanza diferenciadas dirigidas a proporcionar aspectos de interacción y diálogo entre alumnos y profesores, estimulando el aprendizaje de los contenidos de la disciplina y la formación profesional.O objetivo deste estudo é descrever uma proposta pedagógica sobre o preparo e a administração de medicamentos e soluções relacionando as áreas de conhecimento da Enfermagem e da Matemática. Trata-se de um estudo de abordagem qualitativa, descritivo relacionado a uma proposta pedagógica embasada em duas estratégias de ensino e um recurso pedagógico referente ao preparo e administração de medicamentos e soluções, relacionando os conhecimentos das áreas da Enfermagem e da Matemática. A referida proposta pedagógica foi elaborada por discentes do curso de Doutorado em Ensino, na disciplina de Estratégias de Ensino II. A atividade na disciplina ocorreu por meio de um trabalho, integrando as áreas de atuação dos doutorandos no contexto da sala de aula. Verificou-se a importância da integração entre as áreas da Enfermagem e da Matemática e a utilização de mecanismos que possam atrelar o contexto dos alunos e os processos de ensino e de aprendizagem na formação acadêmica sobre o preparo e a administração de medicamentos e soluções.
