Fast prototyping made by the technique of three-dimensional printing in surgery and implantology

Resumo: Fast prototyping is a technology that has been widely used today in odontology as a way to facilitate the daily life of dentists that constitute an association of medical-dental imaging with the computer systems Computer Aided Design (CAD), this technique has the ability to acquire bio models compatible with human anatomy. This academic work aims to review the state of the art showing the benefits and advantages of fast prototyping models for planning and reduction of surgeries in implant dentistry and maxillofacial. Thus, a qualitative bibliographic research was used to study and draw up this work. In the first part, it was found that fast prototyping made by the three-dimensional impression technique is the most effective method, bringing an efficient result for the dental surgeon and the patient. In the second part of this work, several ways to provide and help the life of the dentist in implant dentistry and maxillofacial surgeries were analyzed, being beneficial in the patient's post-surgery with faster healing and the best final result. In the third part, it was found that the computer system is the software used to convert the data acquired in computed tomography.

In the third part, it was found that the computer system is the software used to convert the data acquired in computed tomography.El prototipado rápido es una tecnología que ha sido ampliamente utilizada en la actualidad en odontología, como una forma de facilitar la vida diaria del odontólogo, lo que constituye una asociación de imagen médico-dental con sistemas informáticos de Diseño Asistido por Computadora (CAD), esta técnica tiene la capacidad adquirir biomodelos compatibles con la anatomía humana. Este trabajo académico tiene como objetivo revisar el estado del arte presentando los beneficios y ventajas de los modelos de prototipado rápido para la planificación y reducción de cirugías en implantología y maxilofacial. Así, se utilizó una investigación bibliográfica cualitativa para el estudio y elaboración de este trabajo. En la primera parte, se encontró que la creación rápida de prototipos utilizando la técnica de impresión tridimensional es el método más efectivo, proporcionando un resultado eficiente tanto para el cirujano dental como para el paciente. En la segunda parte de este trabajo se analizaron diversas formas de facilitar y ayudar la vida del odontólogo en implantología y cirugías maxilofaciales, siendo beneficiosas en el postoperatorio del paciente con una cicatrización más rápida y un mejor resultado final. En la tercera parte, se contactó que el sistema informático es el software que se utiliza para convertir los datos adquiridos en tomografía computarizada.A prototipagem rápida é uma tecnologia que tem sido muito usada atualmente na odontologia, como forma de facilitar o dia a dia do cirurgião dentista, que constitui em uma associação de imaginologia médico-odontológica com sistemas de computadores Computer Aided Design (CAD), essa técnica tem a capacidade de adquirir biomodelos compatíveis com a anatomia humana. O presente trabalho acadêmico tem como objetivo fazer uma revisão do estado da arte apresentando os benefícios e as vantagens de modelos de prototipagem rápida para o planejamento e redução de cirurgias em implantodontia e bucomaxilofacial. Dessa forma, foi empregado uma pesquisa de forma qualitativa de caráter bibliográfico para estudo e elaboração do presente trabalho. Na primeira parte, verificou-se que prototipagem rápida confeccionada pela técnica da impressão tridimensional é o método mais eficaz, trazendo um resultado eficiente tanto para cirurgião dentista quanto ao paciente. Na segunda parte deste trabalho, analisou-se diversas formas de facilitar e auxiliar a vida do cirurgião dentista em cirurgias de implantodontia e bucomaxilofacial, sendo benéfico no pós operatório do paciente com uma cicatrização mais rápida e um melhor resultado final.
