Resumo: | Objective: to analyze the impact of COVID-19 on the mental health of university professors at a higher education institution in Serra da Ibiapaba. Methodology: it consisted of a bibliographical research of texts considered relevant for the same, in addition to a field research, through the application of a questionnaire using google forms, of a qualitative nature, with the professors of a higher education institution in Serra da Serra. Ibiapaba, totaling 13 (thirteen) responses. Results: from this study, it is concluded that most teachers suffered from the pandemic and had some impact on mental health. The pandemic scenario made teachers increase their working hours and with it the level of stress, even with the support in the new teaching transactions made available by the institution. |

Metodología: consistió en una investigación bibliográfica de textos considerados relevantes para la misma, además de una investigación de campo, mediante la aplicación de un cuestionario utilizando formularios de google, de carácter cualitativo, con los profesores de una institución de educación superior en Serra da Serra Ibiapaba, totalizando 13 (trece) respuestas. Resultados: de este estudio se concluye que la mayoría de los docentes sufrieron la pandemia y tuvieron algún impacto en la salud mental. El escenario de la pandemia hizo que los docentes aumentaran su jornada laboral y con ello el nivel de estrés, incluso con el apoyo en los nuevos trámites docentes que dispuso la institución.Objetivo: analisar o impacto da COVID-19 na saúde mental dos docentes universitários em uma instituição de ensino superior na Serra da Ibiapaba. Metodologia: consistiu em uma pesquisa bibliográfica de textos considerados relevantes para a mesma, além de uma pesquisa de campo, por meio da aplicação de um questionário utilizando o google forms, de caráter qualitativo, com os docentes de uma instituição de ensino superior da Serra da Ibiapaba, totalizando 13 (treze) respostas. Resultados: a partir desse estudo, conclui-se que a maioria dos docentes sofreu com a pandemia e tiveram algum impacto na saúde mental.
