Oral health: How health promotion and disease prevention actions are carried out by professionals from the Oral Health Teams in the Family Health Strategy

Resumo: In order to reduce the negative impacts of oral health problems, health promotion actions are carried out in Primary Care with dental health teams in the Unified Health System (SUS). From a preventive perspective, it is necessary for health promotion to be successful at a collective and individual level so that subjects have the necessary autonomy, prioritizing self-care, reducing the need for clinical interventions. This work aims to report how the promotion and prevention care has been carried out by the oral health teams of the Family Health strategy. To carry out the same, the Scielo database, PubMed and the Ministry of Health manuals were consulted as a reference. The Oral Health Teams have to carry out the same, the Scielo database, PubMed and the Ministry of Health manuals were consulted as a reference. The Oral Health Teams have responsibility at the local level for the consolidation of community actions and the restructuring of services in the area of Oral Health, which makes it necessary to advance in the development of educational practices during care in the SUS and the preparation of professionals so that there is training for better performance of the work.

Desde una perspectiva preventiva, es necesario que la promoción de la salud sea exitosa a nivel colectivo e individual para que los sujetos tengan la autonomía necesaria, priorizando el autocuidado, reduciendo la necesidad de intervenciones clínicas. Este trabajo tiene como objetivo relatar cómo el cuidado de promoción y prevención ha sido realizado por los equipos de salud bucal de la estrategia Salud de la Familia. Para realizar el mismo se consultó como referencia la base de datos Scielo, PubMed y los manuales del Ministerio de Salud. Los Equipos de Salud Bucal tienen responsabilidad a nivel local por la consolidación de las acciones comunitarias y la reestructuración de los servicios en el área de Salud Bucal, lo que hace necesario avanzar en el desarrollo de prácticas educativas durante la atención en el SUS y la preparación de profesionales para que haya capacitación para un mejor desempeño del trabajo.Visando diminuir impactos negativos dos agravos em saúde bucal, ações de promoção de saúde são realizadas na   Atenção Primária com equipes de saúde odontológica no Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS). Sob uma perspectiva preventiva é necessário que a promoção de saúde tenha êxito em nível coletivo e individual a fim de que os sujeitos possuam a autonomia necessária priorizando o autocuidado, reduzindo a necessidade de intervenções clínicas. Este trabalho tem como objetivo relatar como tem sido realizado o atendimento de promoção e prevenção pelas equipes de saúde bucal da estratégia Saúde da Família. Para a realização da mesma, consultou-se a base de dados Scielo, PubMed e manuais do Ministério de Saúde como referencial.
