Entepreneurship in Chemistry teaching in Brazil: a case study

Resumo: | This article aims to present a didactic sequence for students of a private primary education school in Estância, Sergipe, using entrepreneurship as a tool for teaching chemistry. Entrepreneurial education is an effective method for developing specific skills and an exciting alternative to traditional education. Based on the concept that entrepreneurship is not a single, one-step method, but a set of organized actions and techniques, activities were proposed based on the students' desires and motivations. The fundamentals and modern theories that involve entrepreneurial education and its application at school were analyzed. Through the proposed strategy, important chemical concepts such as mixtures, organic functions, atomic models, solutions, and emulsions were performed with students. With this, the present study concluded that entrepreneurial education could go beyond teaching concepts and methodologies; it focuses on learning, with the student taking the lead in his entrepreneurial journey. |

La educación emprendedora se muestra como un método efectivo para desarrollar habilidades específicas y también como una alternativa interesante para ser incorporada a la educación tradicional. Partiendo del concepto de que el emprendimiento no es un método de un solo paso, sino un conjunto de acciones y técnicas organizadas, se propusieron actividades basadas en los deseos y motivaciones de los estudiantes. Se analizaron los fundamentos y teorías modernas que involucran la educación emprendedora y, en secuencia, su aplicación en la escuela. A través de la estrategia propuesta, se trabajaron con los estudiantes conceptos químicos importantes como mezclas, funciones orgánicas, modelos atómicos, soluciones y emulsiones. Con esto, el presente estudio concluyó que la educación emprendedora puede ir más allá de la enseñanza de conceptos y metodologías; tiene un enfoque en el aprendizaje, en el que el estudiante toma la iniciativa en su viaje empresarial.Este artigo tem como objetivo a apresentação de uma sequencia didática para alunos de uma escola de educação básica da rede privada, no município de Estância, Sergipe, utilizando o empreendedorismo como ferramenta para o ensino de química. A educação empreendedora é mostrada como um método eficaz no desenvolvimento de habilidades específicas e também uma interessante alternativa a ser incorporada à educação tradicional. Com base no conceito de que o empreendedorismo não é um método único e de etapas pontuais, mas sim um conjunto de ações e técnicas organizadas, foram propostas atividades baseadas nos anseios e motivações dos alunos. Foram analisados os fundamentos e teorias modernas que envolvem a educação empreendedora e, em sequencia, sua aplicação na escola. Através da estratégia proposta, importantes conceitos químicos tais como misturas, funções orgânicas, modelos atômicos, soluções e emulsões foram trabalhados junto aos alunos.
