Changes in living from the child / adolescent diagnosis with HIV/AIDS and facilities found in care

Resumo: | Objective: The presented research aims to know the changes in living from the diagnosis of the child/adolescent with HIV/AIDS and facilities in the exercised care. Methodology: Descriptive, exploratory and qualitative carried out in southern Brazil in 2018. Participated 20 family caregivers of HIV-positive children/adolescents. Data were collected through interviews and submitted to Content Analysis. Ethical principles were respected. Results: About changes, it was found that the family caregiver starts to dedicate themselves exclusively to care, they are concerned that only the nuclear family is dedicated to the care of the child/adolescent. They reported that the disease served to unite the familyand that there was a change in diet. Concerning the facilities, on the other hand, reported not having difficulties, as the child/adolescent does not bother, accepts all the care and routines proposed for their well-being. They stated that they have a life like that of any other child/adolescent, and have no difficulties. They mentioned that the child/adolescent accepts his diagnosis and does not suffer prejudice. They also referred obtaining a judicial benefit by giving them more time to care for the child. Conclusion: the importance of constant nursing work with families is perceived through health education and guidance, to instruct and prepare them to deal with existing routines and adversities. |

Metodología: descriptiva, exploratoria y cualitativa realizada en el sur de Brasil en 2018. Participaron 20 cuidadores familiares de niños/adolescentes VIH positivos. Los datos fueron recolectados a través de entrevistas y enviados a Análisis de Contenido. Se respetaron los principios éticos. Resultados:En cuanto a los cambios, se descubrió que el cuidador familiar comienza a dedicarse exclusivamente al cuidado, les preocupa que solo la familia nuclear se dedique al cuidado del niño/adolescente. Informaron que la enfermedad sirvió para unir a la familia y que hubo un cambio en la dieta. Las instalaciones, por otro lado, informaron que no tienen dificultades, ya que el niño/adolescente no molesta y acepta todos los cuidados y rutinas que se proponen para su bienestar. Afirmaron que tienen una vida como la de cualquier otro niño/adolescente y que no tienen dificultades. Mencionaron que el niño/adolescente acepta su diagnóstico y no sufre prejuicios. También se refirieron a la obtención de un beneficio judicial dándoles más tiempo para cuidar al niño. Conclusión: la importancia del trabajo constante de enfermería con las familias se percibe a través de la educación y orientación en salud, para instruirlos y prepararlos para enfrentar las rutinas y adversidades existentes.Objetivo: A pesquisa que se apresenta tem como objetivo conhecer as mudanças no viver a partir do diagnóstico da criança/adolescente com HIV/AIDS e facilidades no cuidado exercido. Metodologia: descritiva, exploratória e qualitativa realizada no sul do Brasil em 2018. Participaram 20 familiares cuidadores de crianças/adolescentes soropositivos. Os dados foram coletados por entrevistas e submetidos à Análise de Conteúdo. Respeitaram-se os princípios éticos. Resultados: Quanto as mudanças, verificou-se que o familiar cuidador passa a dedicar-se exclusivamente ao cuidado, preocupam-se que apenas a família nuclear dedique-se ao cuidado a criança/adolescente. Referiram que a doença serviu para unir a família e que houve uma mudança na alimentação. Já as facilidades, referiram não ter dificuldades, pois a criança/adolescente não incomoda, aceita todos os cuidados e rotinas que são propostos para o seu bem estar. Afirmaram que a mesma possui uma vida como a de qualquer outra criança/adolescente, não possuindo dificuldades. Referiram que a criança/adolescente aceita o seu diagnóstico e não sofre preconceitos. Também referiram à obtenção de um benefício judicial fazendo com que tivesse mais tempo para cuidar da criança.
