From traditionally to democratic management in the scope of Education

Resumo: The present work is the result of a qualitative bibliographic research that aimed to understand the concepts of traditional educational management and democratic management and to analyze the transformations that occurred from the first to the second, as well as in the role of the director for the manager. For data collection, some articles, documents and books on the subject were selected, readings, records and moments of group study were carried out for the writing of the article in vogue. Data analysis followed Laurence Bardin's content analysis. As a result, it is evident that the act of managing was previously synonymous with centralization, authoritarianism and punishment. Currently, due to new possibilities in the world, a different way of managing is born, some of the characteristics of this new management are decentralization, participation and democracy. Democratic management is defended by law and must be included in all public schools in Brazil. It is concluded from the research that democratic management is active participation among the various subjects involved in the school environment, it is freedom in the elaboration and acceptance of the pedagogical political project, on the other hand, traditional school management gives power to the director to make decisions, without the active participation of other education professionals.

Para la recolección de datos se seleccionaron algunos artículos, documentos y libros sobre el tema, se realizaron lecturas, registros y momentos de estudio grupal para la redacción del artículo en boga. El análisis de datos siguió el análisis de contenido de Laurence Bardin. Como resultado, se evidencia que el acto de administrar era antes sinónimo de centralización, autoritarismo y castigo. Actualmente, debido a las nuevas posibilidades en el mundo, nace una forma diferente de gestionar, algunas de las características de esta nueva gestión son la descentralización, la participación y la democracia. La gestión democrática está defendida por la ley y debe ser incluida en todas las escuelas públicas de Brasil. Se concluye de la investigación que la gestión democrática es participación activa entre los diversos sujetos que intervienen en el ámbito escolar, es libertad en la elaboración y aceptación del proyecto político pedagógico, por otro lado, la gestión escolar tradicional otorga potestad al director para tomar decisiones, sin la participación activa de otros profesionales de la educación.O presente trabalho é resultado de uma pesquisa bibliográfica de caráter qualitativo que teve como objetivos compreender os conceitos de gestão educacional tradicional e gestão democrática e analisar as transformações ocorridas da primeira para a segunda, bem como no papel do diretor para o gestor. Para a coleta de dados foram selecionados alguns artigos, documentos e livros a respeito da temática, realizadas leituras, fichamentos e momentos de estudo em grupo para a escrita do artigo em voga. A análise dos dados se deu segundo a análise de conteúdo de Laurence Bardin. Como resultado evidencia-se que o ato de gerir antes era sinônimo de centralização, autoritarismo e punição. Na atualidade devido a novas viabilizações do mundo nasce uma forma diferente de gerir, algumas das características dessa nova gestão é a descentralização, participação e democracia. A Gestão democrática é defendida por lei e deve estar inserida em todas as escolas públicas do Brasil.
