The analysis of educational guidelines and the teaching of mathematics

Resumo: This article presents a discussion around educational laws and guidelines and the teaching of mathematics in Brazil. It aims to highlight the relevance of official documents that govern Brazilian education, highlighting the way they approach the relationship between mathematics and everyday life, in addition to highlighting its historical dimension and its connection with everyday life. To do so, we start from an overview of the historical context in which systematized education in the country appears, which goes back to the colonization process. Then, we discuss some educational laws and guidelines and their relationship with the teaching of mathematics: Law of Guidelines and Bases of National Education, National Curriculum Parameters and Common National Curriculum Base. Anchored methodologically in a bibliographic approach, of a qualitative nature, the study presents as results the importance of teachers and other education professionals to understand these educational documents, in order to implement the proposed policies, a dimension that requires a new meaning of teaching, in this case concerned, mathematics.

Busca resaltar la relevancia de los documentos oficiales que rigen la educación brasileña, destacando la forma en que abordan la relación entre las matemáticas y la vida cotidiana, además de resaltar su dimensión histórica y su conexión con la vida cotidiana. Para ello partimos de un repaso del contexto histórico en el que aparece la educación sistematizada en el país, que se remonta al proceso de colonización. Luego, discutimos algunas leyes y lineamientos educativos y su relación con la enseñanza de las matemáticas: Ley de Lineamientos y Bases de la Educación Nacional, Parámetros del Currículo Nacional y Base Curricular Nacional Común. Anclado metodológicamente en un enfoque bibliográfico, de carácter cualitativo, el estudio presenta como resultado la importancia de que los docentes y otros profesionales de la educación comprendan estos documentos educativos, para concretar las políticas propuestas, dimensión que requiere un nuevo significado de la enseñanza, en este caso preocupado, matemáticas.Este artigo apresenta uma discussão em torno das leis e diretrizes educacionais e o ensino da matemática no Brasil. Tem como objetivo destacar a relevância dos documentos oficiais que regem a educação brasileira, evidenciando a forma como abordam a relação da matemática com o cotidiano, além de salientar a sua dimensão histórica e sua conexão com o cotidiano. Para tanto, parte-se de um panorama do contexto histórico em que surge a educação sistematizada no país, o que nos remonta ao processo de colonização. Em seguida, discutimos algumas leis e diretrizes educacionais e suas relações com o ensino da matemática: Lei de Diretrizes e Bases da Educação Nacional, Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais e Base Nacional Comum Curricular.
