Resumo: | In 2019, an outbreak of infection caused by SARS-CoV-2 began, having been used measures such as pronation to recover patients. in order to analyze the effects of pronation on gasometric blood indices of patients with Covid-19 admitted to an Intensive Therapy Unit, as a way to contribute to improve practices of health professionals, in their use in cases of pulmonary involvement by Covid-19. This is a systematic review, conducted by two independent reviewers, in order to answer the research question: “What are the effects of the prone position on the PaO2/FiO2 ratio in patients with Covid-19 admitted to an intensive care unit (ICU)? “using "PICO" and the PRISMA flow during the Search, selection and analysis processes. It was observed that the prone position had no significance in the PaO2/FiO2 ratio, as well as no relevant differences in the mortality rate and intubation of patients. It is concluded that although these are studies with high levels of evidence, several biases were observed in their production, making it necessary to expand the development of randomized clinical trials on this subject. |

Research, Society and Development2022-06-02info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/article/view/3034310.33448/rsd-v11i7.30343Research, Society and Development; Vol. 11 No. 7; e50211730343Research, Society and Development; Vol. 11 Núm. 7; e50211730343Research, Society and Development; v. 11 n. 7; e502117303432525-3409reponame:Research, Society and Developmentinstname:Universidade Federal de Itajubá (UNIFEI)instacron:UNIFEIporhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/article/view/30343/26099Copyright (c) 2022 Amanda de Moraes Prado; Ingrid Ruanna Ximenes de Sousa; Karla Joelma Bezerra Cunhahttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessPrado, Amanda de Moraes Sousa, Ingrid Ruanna Ximenes de Cunha, Karla Joelma Bezerra 2022-06-06T15:12:05Zoai:ojs.pkp.sfu.ca:article/30343Revistahttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/indexPUBhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/oairsd.articles@gmail.com2525-34092525-3409opendoar:2024-01-17T09:47:08.265784Research, Society and Development - Universidade Federal de Itajubá (UNIFEI)false |
