Resumo: | The article presents a pedagogical proposal involving a periodic table applied in classes of the ninth grade of elementary school, using varied didactic resources with playful characteristics and that allow an active participation of students, in order to facilitate the presentation of abstract and symbolic concepts of chemistry, favoring their understanding by the students. The activity was developed in two stages, with the first employing the stimulated memory technique to identify students' knowledge about the presence of chemical elements in their daily lives, involving their names, symbols and physical state, and the second presenting the periodic table a from the use of comic books and research activity. It involved a case study, with the form of data collection being the recording of classes, the production of material by students and the teacher's class diary. The activities were well accepted by the students, allowing the socialization of ideas and knowledge, with the active participation of the classes. |

La actividad se desarrolló en dos etapas, la primera empleó la técnica de memoria estimulada para identificar el conocimiento de los estudiantes sobre la presencia de elementos químicos en su vida diaria, involucrando sus nombres, símbolos y estado físico, y la segunda presentando la tabla periódica a del uso de cómics y actividades de investigación. Implicó un estúdio de caso, utilizando la grabación de clases, la producción de material por parte de los estudiantes y el diario de clase del profesor como una forma de recopilación de datos. Las actividades fueron bien aceptadas por los estudiantes, permitiendo la socialización de ideas y conocimientos, con la participación activa de las clases.O artigo apresenta uma proposta pedagógica envolvendo tabela periódica aplicada em turmas do nono ano do ensino fundamental, utilizando recursos didáticos variados com características lúdicas e que permitam uma participação ativa dos alunos, com o objetivo de facilitar a apresentação de conceitos abstratos e simbólicos da química, favorecendo sua compreensão por parte dos estudantes. A atividade foi desenvolvida em duas etapas, com a primeira empregando a técnica da memória estimulada para identificar os conhecimentos dos alunos sobre a presença de elementos químicos no seu cotidiano, envolvendo seus nomes, símbolos e estado físico, e a segunda apresentando a tabela periódica a partir do uso de história em quadrinhos e atividade de pesquisa. Envolveu um estudo de caso, tendo como forma de coleta de dados a gravação das aulas, a produção de material por parte dos alunos e o diário de aula da professora. As etapas foram bem aceitas pelos alunos, permitindo a socialização de ideias e conhecimentos, com a participação ativa das turmas.
