The use of socrative as a pedagogical alternative for the performance of team-based learning (TBL) in the classroom

Resumo: Aware of the constant insertion of electronic devices among students in the classroom. The objective of this work was to propose the use of the socrative application as a pedagogical alternative for the realization of Team-Based Learning (TBL) in the classroom. It is an exploratory study with a quali-quantitative approach. For the development of this research, a classroom activity was carried out divided into stages with 13 students from the pharmacy course. Initially the study material was made available and a conference was held, at the second moment the TBL was applied by the socrative application and later a questionnaire was made available through Google Forms in order to evaluate the methodology used. After the activity, it was observed that the methodology used had a satisfactory result, since the performance of the students improved considerably in terms of autonomy, decision-making capacity and teamwork, obtaining an acceptance rate of 93%. It was concluded that the use of this application can help teachers in the elaboration and realization of TBL, and in the development of other activities in class, since it has several advantages, besides being free.

El objetivo de este trabajo fue proponer el uso de la aplicación socrativa como alternativa pedagógica para la realización del aprendizaje en equipo (TBL) en el aula. Se trata de un estudio exploratorio con un enfoque cualitativo y cuantitativo. Para el desarrollo de esta investigación se realizó una actividad en el aula dividida en etapas con 13 alumnos del curso de farmacia. Inicialmente se puso a disposición el material de estudio y se celebró una conferencia, en el segundo momento se aplicó el TBL por la aplicación socrativa y posteriormente se puso a disposición un cuestionario a través de los formularios de Google para evaluar la metodología utilizada. Después de la actividad se observó que la metodología utilizada tuvo un resultado satisfactorio, ya que el rendimiento de los alumnos mejoró considerablemente en cuanto a autonomía, capacidad de decisión y trabajo en equipo, obteniendo una tasa de aceptación del 93%. Se llegó a la conclusión de que el uso de esta aplicación puede ayudar a los profesores en la elaboración y realización de TBL, y en el desarrollo de otras actividades en clase, ya que tiene varias ventajas, además de ser gratuita.Ciente da constante inserção de dispositivos eletrônicos entre os alunos em sala de aula. Trata-se de um estudo exploratório com abordagem quali-quantitativa. Para o desenvolvimento desta pesquisa foi realizada uma atividade em sala de aula dividida em etapas com 13 alunos do curso de farmácia. Inicialmente foi disponibilizado o material de estudo e realizado uma conferência, no segundo momento foi aplicado o TBL pelo aplicativo socrative e posteriormente foi disponibilizado um questionário através do Google Forms, com finalidade de avaliar a metodologia utilizada. Após a realização da atividade observou-se que a metodologia utilizada teve um resultado satisfatório, visto que o rendimento dos alunos melhorou consideravelmente no que se diz respeito a autonomia, capacidade de decisão e trabalho em equipe, obtendo-se um índice de aceitação de 93%.
