Resumo: | Vitamin C effervescent tablets have been the most used pharmaceutical form in recent times due to its effervescent pharmaceutical form. In addition to the fact that studies show its properties in fighting free radicals as well as strengthening the immune system. With that in mind, this article aimed to analyze 5 effervescent vitamin C tablets, in order to verify if the same standards of quality standards required by Organs responsible bodies. The parameters followed standardized methodology by the substance monograph according to the Brazilian Pharmacopoeia, 6th edition, being physical-chemical determination of pH, friability, average weight and acidity content using the Balentine method by titration. Analyzes were performed in triplicate for greater confidence in the results. After analyzing the data, it was found that sample A did not meet the basic parameters recommended by law, failing the friability test. After the analyses, it was concluded that as they obtained satisfactory results, except for sample A, which failed the friability test, average weight and, most importantly, the dosage test, where it did not reach the 90% restore required by the monograph. The others meet the recommended criteria. Quality control jobs provide a very important tool in relation to the quality of products consumed, protecting the consumer and helping to improve the quality controls of products in the market. |

Además de que los estudios demuestran sus propiedades en la lucha contra los radicales libres, así como en el fortalecimiento del sistema inmunológico. Con eso en mente, este artículo tuvo como objetivo analizar 5 tabletas efervescentes de vitamina C, con el fin de verificar si los mismos estándares de calidad exigidos por los órganos responsables. Los parámetros siguieron la metodología estandarizada por la monografía de sustancias según la Farmacopea Brasileña, 6ª edición, siendo la determinación físico-química del pH, friabilidad, peso promedio y contenido de acidez mediante el método Balentine por titulación. Los análisis se realizaron por triplicado para mayor confianza en los resultados. Luego de analizar los datos, se encontró que la muestra A no cumplía con los parámetros básicos recomendados por la ley, fallando la prueba de friabilidad. Luego de los análisis, se concluyó que como se obtuvieron resultados satisfactorios, a excepción de la muestra A, que no pasó la prueba de friabilidad, peso promedio y, lo más importante, la prueba de dosificación, donde no alcanzó el 90% de restauración requerido por la monografía. Los demás cumplen los criterios recomendados. Los trabajos de control de calidad proporcionan una herramienta muy importante en relación a la calidad de los productos consumidos, protegiendo al consumidor y ayudando a mejorar los controles de calidad de los productos en el mercado.Os comprimidos efervescentes de vitamina C tem sido a forma farmacêutica mais utilizada nos últimos tempos devido sua forma farmacêutica efervescente. Além do fato dos estudos apontarem suas propriedades no combate a radicais livres bem como fortalecimento do sistema imunológico. Pensando nisso, esse artigo teve como objetivo analisar 5 amostras de comprimidos efervescentes de vitamina C, a fim de verificar se os mesmos seguem os padrões de qualidades exigidas pelos órgãos responsáveis. Os parâmetros seguiram metodologia padronizada pela monografia da substância de acordo com a Farmacopeia Brasileira, 6º edição, sendo determinação físico-química do pH, de friabilidade, peso médio e o Teor de acidez usando o método Balentine por titulação. As análises foram realizadas em triplicata para maior confiabilidade dos resultados. Verificou-se após análise dos dados que a amostra A não atendeu aos parâmetros básicos preconizados pela legislação, sendo reprovada no teste de friabilidade. Após as análises, concluiu-se que as amostras obtiveram resultados satisfatórios com exceção da amostra A que foi reprovada no teste de friabilidade, peso médio e o mais importante no teste de doseamento, onde não alcançou os 90% mínimos exigidos pela monografia. As demais amostras atenderam aos critérios preconizados.
