Strategic map of management of the institutional development plan 2015-2019 of the Federal University of Espírito Santo: a scenario and target analysis

Resumo: The Institutional Development Plan (PDI) and the Management Report are institutional documents, mandatory to assist university management in their planning. Considering that the Federal University of Espirito Santo (UFES) will propose a new PDI the objective of this article was to compare the goals set for the management area in the period from 2015 to 2019 and to verify if they were achieved. It can be seen that the analysis of the reports is insufficient. In a complementary way, a SWOT analysis was carried out from the point of view of the managers of the São Mateus Campus who emphasized that the institution has a greater number of threats and negative points than opportunities and strengths. This fact is corroborated by the situational analysis carried out.

Teniendo en cuenta que la Universidad Federal de Espírito Santo (UFES) propondrá un nuevo PDI, el objetivo de este artículo era comparar los objetivos establecidos para el área de gestión en el período de 2015 a 2019 y verificar si se lograron. Se puede ver que el análisis de los informes es insuficiente. De manera complementaria, se realizó un análisis FODA desde el punto de vista de los gerentes del Campus de São Mateus, quienes enfatizaron que la institución tiene una mayor cantidad de amenazas y puntos negativos que las oportunidades y fortalezas. Este hecho es corroborado por el análisis situacional realizado.O Plano de Desenvolvimento Institucional (PDI) e o Relatório de Gestão são documentos institucionais, obrigatórios com funções de auxiliar a gestão universitária em seu planejamento. Considerando que a Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo (UFES) irá propor novo PDI, o objetivo desta pesquisa foi comparar as metas traçadas para a área de gestão no período de 2015 a 2019 e verificar se as mesmas foram logradas. Pode-se perceber que a análise dos relatórios é insuficiente. De modo complementar foi realizada uma análise SWOT sob o ponto de vista dos gestores do Campus São Mateus que ressaltaram que a instituição possui um número maior de ameaças e pontos negativos que oportunidades e pontos fortes.
