Resumo: Objective: To explain about the mourning process vis-à-vis COVID-19. Method: This is a narrative review of the literature on the grieving process in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. Results: Four guiding axes were presented on the theme, namely: grieving process: understanding the grieving diagnosis; persistent complex grieving disorder; I struggle in the context of COVID-19: support strategies and emotional support in mourning during the COVID-19 pandemic. Conclusion: Mourning is a normative process of adaptations to losses, covering emotions, conditions, physical sensations and behavioral changes, requiring health professionals to pay attention to listening, welcoming and observing clinical and psychological signs of mental suffering.

Método: Esta es una revisión narrativa de la literatura sobre el proceso de duelo ante la pandemia de COVID-19. Resultados: Se presentaron cuatro ejes guía sobre el tema, a saber: proceso de duelo: comprensión del diagnóstico de duelo; trastorno de duelo complejo persistente; Lucho en el contexto de las estrategias de apoyo de COVID-19: y el apoyo emocional en el duelo durante la pandemia de COVID-19. Conclusión: el duelo es un proceso normativo de adaptaciones a las pérdidas, que abarca las emociones, las condiciones, las sensaciones físicas y los cambios de comportamiento, que requiere que los profesionales de la salud presten atención a escuchar, dar la bienvenida y observar los signos clínicos y psicológicos del sufrimiento mental.Objetivo: Explanar acerca do processo de enlutamento frente à COVID-19. Método: Trata-se de uma revisão narrativa da literatura sobre o processo de enlutamento frente à pandemia da COVID-19. Resultados: Foram apresentados quatro eixos condutores sobre a temática, a saber: processo de luto: compreensão do diagnóstico de luto; transtorno de luto complexo persistente; luto no contexto da COVID-19: estratégias de suporte e apoio emocional no enlutamento durante a pandemia da COVID-19.
