Resumo: | The learning disability that strikes several children and adolescents, known as dyslexia, is a disorder that affects the ability to read, write, and understand basic concepts for the child's development during their school life. The recognition and early intervention of the problem are extremely crucial to minimize the negative effects of such disorder, such as the children’s inability to comprehend the classes and teacher’s and parents’ frustration due to low performance and school failure. For this reason, it is necessary to have a greater comprehension of the subject of dyslexia, to develop works related to the disability of this student. From this perspective, this article aims at addressing some concepts and characteristics, and means of intervention related to dyslexia. |

From this perspective, this article aims at addressing some concepts and characteristics, and means of intervention related to dyslexia.Las dificultades de aprendizaje que acometen muchos niños y adolescentes se nombran dislexia, una discapacidad del aprendizaje en lectura, escritura y comprensión de contenidos necesarios para el desarrollo del niño durante su vida escolar. La identificación e intervención precoces del problema son muy importantes para minimizar los efectos negativos que esta discapacidad genera al niño, que no toma las clases en serio; a los padres, que se preocupan con el bajo rendimiento; al profesor, que toma en serio el fracaso escolar. Para tanto, se hace necesario no solo conocimiento para lidiar con el asunto, sino también que se elaboren trabajos acerca de la discapacidad de este alumno. En esta perspectiva, el presente artículo tiene como objetivo abarcar algunos conceptos y características y medios de intervención que tienen que ver con la dislexia.A deficiência na aprendizagem que acomete muitas crianças e adolescentes, conhecida como dislexia é um transtorno que afeta a capacidade de ler, escrever e entender conteúdos necessários para o desenvolvimento da criança, durante sua vida escolar. A identificação e a intervenção precoce do problema é de fundamental importância para minimizar os efeitos negativos que esse transtorno traz para a criança, que não consegue acompanhar as aulas, para os pais que se preocupam com o baixo rendimento e para o professor que se sente frustrado diante do fracasso escolar. Para tanto é necessário conhecimento sobre o assunto, bem como elaborar trabalhos voltados para a deficiência desse aluno.
