Evidence on the use of creatine in men or women practicing physical activity

Resumo: The demand for physical activity in recent decades has increased both in the search for physical performance and for a better quality of life, and the market for supplements associated with both health and sports performance has also developed, one of the most nutritional supplements studied and creatine that, according to studies from 2018, 84% of the interviewees practiced physical activity, bodybuilding being the most performed and 22% continuous use of creatine, in the study in 2018, 93 subjects were interviewed, of which 91.4% were men where of these, 45% consumed creatine for its action to enhance physical and sports performance by giving more energy. Objective: to investigate the effects of creatine supplement in men and women who perform physical exercise. Methods: this is an integrative review, carried out in the BVS, SCIELO and PUBMED databases, using the descriptors nutritional supplements, creatine, training e wome as well as in English and Spanish in the periods from 2012 to 2022. Results: They identified in the studies carried out that when creatine is used combined with resistance training, they cause effects of potentiating some variables related to the human body, such as lean mass gain, increased muscle strength, increased muscle resistance and decreased muscle damage. Final considerations: It can be concluded that performing physical exerci.

Final considerations: It can be concluded that performing physical exerci.La demanda de actividad física en las últimas décadas se ha incrementado tanto en la búsqueda del rendimiento físico como de una mejor calidad de vida, y también se ha desarrollado el mercado de suplementos asociados tanto a la salud como al rendimiento deportivo, uno de los suplementos nutricionales más estudiados y la creatina que, según estudios del 2018, el 84% de los entrevistados practicaban actividad física, siendo la musculación la más realizada y el 22% uso continuo de creatina, en el estudio del 2018 se entrevistaron 93 sujetos, de los cuales el 91,4% eran hombres donde de estos El 45% consumía creatina por su acción de potenciar el rendimiento físico y deportivo aportando más energía. Objetivo: investigar los efectos del suplemento de creatina en hombres y mujeres que realizan ejercicio físico. Métodos: se trata de una revisión integradora, realizada en las bases de datos BVS, SCIELO y PUBMED, utilizando los descriptores suplementos nutricionales, creatina, entrenamiento e mujer así como en inglés y español en los períodos de 2012 a 2022. Resultados: Se identificaron en los estudios realizados que cuando se utiliza la creatina combinada con el entrenamiento de resistencia, provocan efectos de potenciación de algunas variables relacionadas con el cuerpo humano, como la ganancia de masa magra, aumento de la fuerza muscular, aumento de la resistencia muscular y disminución del daño muscular. Consideraciones finales: Se puede concluir que la realización de ejercicio físico.A procura pela atividade física nas últimas décadas veio aumentando tanto na busca pelo desempenho físico como por uma melhor qualidade de vida, e também se desenvolveu o mercado de suplementos por esta associado tanto na obtenção de saúde como no desempenho esportivo, um desse suplemento nutricionais mais estudados e a creatina que segundo estudos de 2018 84% dos entrevistados praticava atividade física, sendo a musculação mais realizada e 22% uso continuo de creatina, já no estudo no ano de 2018 foram entrevistado 93 sujeitos do qual 91,4% eram de homens onde destes, 45% consumiam creatina por ter como ação potencializar o desempenho físico e esportivo dando mais energia.Objetivo: investigar os efeitos do suplemento creatina em homens e mulheres que realizam exercício físico. Métodos: trata-se de uma revisão integrativa, realizada nas bases de dados BVS, SCIELO e PUBMED, através dos descritores suplementos nutricionais, creatina, treinamento e mulher, bem como nos idiomas inglês e espanhol nos períodos de 2012 a 2022. Resultados: Identificaram nos estudos realizados que quando se usa a creatina aliada ao treinamento resistido causam efeitos de potencializar algumas variáveis relacionadas ao corpo humano como o ganho de massa magra, o aumento da força muscular, o aumento da resistência muscular e a diminuição do dano muscular.
