Resumo: The present study aimed to socialize the experience of a group of academics and nursing professors about the transition from face-to-face study to distance learning in times of COVID-19 pandemic. This is an account of the experience of academics and professors from different periods of undergraduate nursing, in a private higher education institution, located in the West of the State of Rio de Janeiro, from March to April 2020. The experience lived in these pandemic times corroborates that, no matter how much information and communication technologies we have, none of them has the power to replace the teacher's presence in the classroom. In addition, teaching-learning in the areas of health sciences involves and requires a diversity of complex factors inherent to the teaching process. In the area of nursing, this is proven mainly by the dichotomy between face-to-face and distance learning, which highlights the central pillar for our propositions. Thus, when understanding that this complexity is composed of innumerable factors, we must direct our efforts towards academic, personal and institutional particularities, in order to detect critical nodes that prevent the advance or integration of contents, and the development of teaching skills undergraduate nursing courses.

Esta es una descripción de la experiencia de académicos y profesores de diferentes períodos del curso de pregrado en enfermería, en una institución privada de educación superior, ubicada en el oeste del estado de Río de Janeiro, de marzo a abril de 2020. La experiencia vivida en estos tiempos de pandemia corrobora que, no importa cuánta tecnología de información y comunicación tengamos, ninguna de ellas tiene el poder de reemplazar la presencia del maestro en el aula. Además, la enseñanza-aprendizaje en las áreas de ciencias de la salud implica y requiere una diversidad de factores complejos inherentes al proceso de enseñanza. En el área de enfermería, esto se demuestra principalmente por la dicotomía entre el aprendizaje presencial y a distancia, que destaca el pilar central de nuestras propuestas. Así, cuando comprendemos que esta complejidad se compone de innumerables factores, debemos dirigir nuestros esfuerzos hacia particularidades académicas, personales e institucionales, a fin de detectar nodos críticos que impidan el avance o la integración de contenidos, y el desarrollo de habilidades de enseñanza. cursos de pregrado en enfermería.O presente estudo teve como objetivo socializar a experiência de um grupo de acadêmicos e professores de enfermagem acerca da transição do estudo presencial para o ensino a distância em tempos de pandemia do COVID-19. Trata-se de um relato da vivência de acadêmicos e professores de diferentes períodos da graduação de enfermagem, em uma instituição de ensino superior privada, situado na zona Oeste do Estado do Rio de Janeiro, no período de março a abril de 2020. A experiência vivenciada nestes tempos de pandemia veio corroborar que, por mais tecnologias da informação e comunicação que dispormos, nenhuma delas tem o poder de substituir a presença do professor em sala de aula. Ademais o ensino-aprendizagem, nas áreas das ciências da saúde, envolve e exige uma diversidade de fatores complexos inerentes ao processo de ensinar. Na área de enfermagem, isso é comprovado principalmente pela dicotomia existente entre o ensino presencial e o ensino a distancia o que evidencia o pilar central para nossas proposições.
