Resumo: | This article describes the creation of a bilingual glossary, Portuguese Language (LP) and Brazilian Sign Language (LIBRAS), of metallic construction components as didactic material for students with hearing impairment. The investigation aimed to include Deaf students in Professional and Technological Education (EPT). For this, the reseach was developed on a campus of the Federal Institute of Minas Gerais (IFMG), based on a demand during the Construction Technology classes, since the vocabulary of the content is non-existent in the form of a LIBRAS glossary based on pratical classes and investigation of the elements that make up drywall and steel frame models. The final product obtained was a glossary with the technical terms of civil construction using videos explaining each element studied. Didactic material is expected to be used in other educational contexts. |

La investigación tuvo como objetivo incluir a los estudiantes sordos en la Educación Profesional y Tecnológica (EPT). Para ello, la investigación se desarroló en un campus del Instituto Federal de Minas Gerais (IFMG) en base a una demanda durante las clases de Tecnología de la Construcción, ya que el vocabulario del contenido es inexixtente en LIBRAS Lengua de Signos Brasileña. La metodología empleada involucra levantamiento de palabras y construcción de un producto educativo en forma de glosario en LIBRAS, basado en clases prácticas e investigación de los elementos que componen los modelos de drywall y marcos de acero. El producto final obtenido fue un glosario con los términos técnicos de la construcción civil mediante videos que explican cada elemento estudiado. Se espera que el material didáctico se utilice en otros contextos educativos.Este artigo descreve a criação de um glossário bilíngue, Língua portuguesa (LP) e Língua Brasileira de Sinais (LIBRAS), de componentes da construção metálica como material didático para alunos que apresentam deficiência auditiva. A investigação objetivou a inclusão de alunos Surdos na Educação Profissional e Tecnológica (EPT). Para isso, a pesquisa foi desenvolvida em um campus do Instituto Federal de Minas Gerais (IFMG), a partir de uma demanda durante as aulas de Tecnologia das Construções, uma vez que o vocabulário do conteúdo é inexistente em LIBRAS Língua Brasileira de Sinais. A metodologia utilizada envolve levantamento de vocábulos e construção de produto educacional no formato de um glossário em LIBRAS, a partir das aulas práticas e investigação dos elementos que constituem as maquetes de drywall e o steel frame. O produto final obtido foi um glossário com os termos técnicos da construção civil utilizando vídeos explicativos de cada elemento estudado.
