Resumo: This article proposes a reflection on the process of teacher training in the conception of Ildeu Coêlho. Approaching teacher training is relevant, since, in the existence of collective life, in the educator's ideas and pedagogical practices, the search for equality and social justice must be intertwined. To this end, we conducted a literature review and bibliographic research on Ildeu Coêlho's manuscripts to analyze the main concepts that constitute his intellectual production. In this way, we discuss the historicity and contradiction of teacher training, as well as the teacher training process in promoting autonomy in the light of Ildeu Coêlho's thought. The results achieved by this research reveal that for such a complex issue, it would be impossible to present proposals for simplistic solutions or even closed conclusions. Therefore, we reaffirm the need to reflect philosophically, considering the possibilities and contradictions that exist in the process of teacher training, since we perceive an impoverishment of the understanding of education, school, cultural and human formation, in recent times. Therefore, it is necessary to persist in the search for new educational and teaching, learning and teacher training concepts and practices, which are aligned with the humanization of all human beings, committed to the promotion of truth, equality and justice.

El acercamiento a la formación docente es relevante, ya que, en la existencia de la vida colectiva, en las ideas y prácticas pedagógicas del educador, debe entrelazarse la búsqueda de la igualdad y la justicia social. Para ello, realizamos una revisión de la literatura y una investigación bibliográfica sobre los manuscritos de Ildeu Coêlho para analizar los principales conceptos que constituyen su producción intelectual. De esta manera, se discute la historicidad y contradicción de la formación docente, así como el proceso de formación docente en la promoción de la autonomía a la luz del pensamiento de Ildeu Coêlho. Los resultados alcanzados por esta investigación revelan que para un tema tan complejo, sería imposible presentar propuestas de soluciones simplistas o incluso conclusiones cerradas. Por tanto, reafirmamos la necesidad de reflexionar filosóficamente, considerando las posibilidades y contradicciones que existen en el proceso de formación docente, ya que percibimos un empobrecimiento de la comprensión de la educación, la escuela, la formación cultural y humana, en los últimos tiempos. Por ello, es necesario persistir en la búsqueda de nuevos conceptos y prácticas de enseñanza, aprendizaje y formación docente, que estén alineados con la humanización de todos los seres humanos, comprometidos con la promoción de la verdad, la igualdad y la justicia.Este artigo propõe uma reflexão acerca do processo de formação de professores na concepção de Ildeu Coêlho. Abordar sobre a formação de professores é relevante, pois, na existência da vida coletiva, nas ideias e nas práticas pedagógicas do educador, deve estar imbricada a busca pela igualdade e justiça social. Para este fim, realizamos uma revisão de literatura e pesquisa bibliográfica sobre os manuscritos de Ildeu Coêlho para analisar os principais conceitos que constituem sua produção intelectual. Desse modo, discutimos a historicidade e contraditoriedade da formação de professores, bem como o processo formativo de professores na promoção da autonomia à luz do pensamento de Ildeu Coêlho. Os resultados alcançados por esta pesquisa revelam que para uma problemática tão complexa, seria impossível apresentar propostas de soluções simplistas ou até mesmo conclusões fechadas. Portanto, reafirmamos a necessidade de refletir filosoficamente, considerando as possibilidades e contradições existentes no processo de formação de professores, uma vez que percebemos um empobrecimento da compreensão de educação, escola, formação cultural e humana, nos últimos tempos.
