Educational paradigms: in pursuit of a new reference

Resumo: | Considering theoretical assumptions about educational paradigms, this study points to necessary changes in pedagogical concepts towards a theoretical-practical framework capable of nurturing moral and ethical values. It refers to a conception that aims at human development in its wholeness; that values the care of oneself, of the other and the environment; that allows critical and dialogical reflections; and that, through solidarity practices, seeks a new type of society by means of changing attitudes. The study focuses on the ecosystem paradigm, which boosts the enchantment towards education, without, however, disregarding the impacts and/or contributions of the other paradigms to education. As contributions, the paper introduces a profile of teachers who educate and a profile of students who are educated, within the scope of pedagogical trends that permeate educational paradigms. |

Se refiere a una concepción que apunta a la formación humana en su plenitud, que valora el cuidado de uno mismo, del otro y del entorno, que permite reflexiones críticas y dialógicas, y que a través de prácticas solidarias busca un nuevo tipo de sociedad mediante el cambio de actitudes. El estudio se centra principalmente en el paradigma ecosistémico, que potencia el encanto por la educación, sin dejar de lado los impactos y/o aportes de los otros paradigmas a la educación. Como aportes, el artículo presenta el perfil del docente que forma y el perfil del alumno que se forma en el ámbito de las tendencias pedagógicas que permean los paradigmas educativos.Com base nos pressupostos dos paradigmas educacionais, observou-se a necessidade de mudanças nas concepções pedagógicas em busca de um referencial teórico-prático capaz de nutrir valores morais e éticos. Uma concepção que visa à formação humana para a inteireza, que valoriza o cuidado consigo mesmo, com o outro e com o meio, que permite a reflexão crítica e dialógica, e através de práticas solidárias deseja-se mudança de atitudes para um novo tipo de sociedade. A ênfase do estudo consiste no paradigma potencializador do encantamento pela educação – ecossistêmico -, sem, contudo, desconsiderar as contribuições e/ou impactos dos demais paradigmas para a educação.
