Resumo: This text seeks to know, through bibliographic research, the state of the research on the problem of school drop-out in terms of its determinants, educational policies and subsequent itineraries. This work, relevant to our education system, is reinforced by being part of Europe 2020's priorities and we will carry it out through a systematized documentary review. Once the literature is known, it will be tested to identify the thematic nuclei of studies within this subject.

Once the literature is known, it will be tested to identify the thematic nuclei of studies within this subject.El presente texto busca conocer, mediante una investigación bibliográfica, cuál es el estado de la investigación sobre la problemática del abandono escolar en lo que se refiere a sus determinantes, políticas educativas e itinerarios posteriores. Este trabajo, relevante para nuestro sistema educativo, se ve reforzado al enmarcase dentro de las prioridades de Europa 2020 y lo llevaremos a cabo mediante una revisión documental sistematizada. Una vez conocida la bibliografía se procederá a un análisis de la misma para identificar los núcleos temáticos de estudios.Este texto busca conhecer, por meio de pesquisas bibliográficas, o estado da pesquisa sobre o problema da desistência escolar em termos de seus determinantes, políticas educacionais e itinerários subsequentes. Este trabalho, relevante para o nosso sistema educacional, é reforçado por fazer parte das prioridades da Europa 2020 e vamos realizá-lo através de uma revisão documental sistematizada.
