Validation of the Engineering Courses Assessment Scale by graduates

Resumo: The assessment of higher education courses by graduates contributes to improvements in Pedagogical Projects, learning management and training of future professionals. This paper presents the validation of an instrument for assessment engineering courses by graduates. The validation was carried out by eleven specialists from different regions of Brazil, professors with a PhD in engineering, interested in the implementation of the Curriculum Guidelines for Engineering in Brazil. The instrument had implemented suggestions, such as: title; items about gender and color; skills and competences; corrections, substitutions, deletions and additions of terms and expressions in some items. According to specialists, this instrument is of relevance and could be applied to different engineering institutions in the country.

Este artículo presenta la validación de un instrumento para la evaluación de cursos de ingeniería por parte de egresados. La validación fue realizada por once especialistas de diferentes regiones de Brasil, profesores con doctorado en ingeniería, interesados en la implementación de las Directrices Curriculares de Ingeniería en Brasil. El instrumento había implementado sugerencias, tales como: título; artículos sobre género y color; habilidades y competencias; correcciones, sustituciones, supresiones y adiciones de términos y expresiones en algunos artículos. Según especialistas, este instrumento es de relevancia y podría ser aplicado a diferentes instituciones de ingeniería del país.A avaliação de cursos superiores feita por egressos contribui para melhorias nos Projetos Pedagógicos, na gestão da aprendizagem e na formação dos futuros profissionais. Objetivamos apresentar a validação de um instrumento de avaliação de cursos de engenharia pelos egressos. A validação foi feita por onze especialistas de diferentes regiões do Brasil, professores doutores em engenharias, interessados na implantação das Diretrizes Curriculares de Engenharia. O instrumento teve sugestões implementadas, como: título; itens sobre gênero e cor; habilidades e competências; correções, substituições, supressões e acréscimos de termos e expressões em alguns itens.
