Construction and validation of an assessment tool for a Medical course by graduates

Resumo: The assessment of higher education courses by graduates contributes to improvements in pedagogical projects, learning management and the training of future professionals. This article aims to present the validation of an assessment tool for a Medical course by graduates. The validation was carried out by judges from the areas of academic management, ethics, student assistance, scientific research and Medicine, all of whom are professors who are members of the higher education teaching profession. The main categories analyzed in the process of revising the questionnaire included: replacing words; adding terms and explanatory additions; dismembering, reordering and adding items. The instrument was validated with 33 items on a 5-point Likert scale. According to the experts, this instrument is relevant and can be adapted and applied to courses at different institutions.

Este artigo visa a apresentar a validação de um instrumento de avaliação de um curso de Medicina pelos egressos. A validação foi feita por juízes das áreas gestão acadêmica, ética, assistência estudantil, pesquisa científica e Medicina, todos são docentes integrantes da carreira do magistério superior. As principais categorias analisadas no processo de revisão do questionário incluíram: substituição de palavras; acréscimos de termos e complementações explicativas; desmembramento, reordenação e adição de itens. O instrumento foi validado com 33 itens de escala Likert de 5 pontos.
