Resumo: Currently, there is a lot of discussion about ways that allow people with limitations conditions of equality and equity before society. For this reason, we sought to include the deaf universe in high school, through the adaptation of didactic instruments related to biology. The models used were made with low-cost materials prepared based on the biology topics described in the textbook approved for use in the classroom. Associated with the models, questions about accessibility, conviviality and respect for differences were addressed. Our project included all three classes of the 1st year of regular high school at Escola Estadual de Ensino Fundamental e Médio José Rocha Sobrinho – EEEFMJRS, Bananeiras-PB. To conclude the activities, five meetings were held throughout the year, including lectures and interventions with didactic models in the classroom. At the end of the interventions, we indicate that the familiarization with Libras for students who do not have hearing impairments takes place during the classes already present in the curriculum. In this way, it is expected that students, when returning to their communities, can share the knowledge learned and better accept the differences when in contact with other citizens who have hearing impairments. In addition to better welcoming students who arrive at school and who have such deficiencies.

In this way, it is expected that students, when returning to their communities, can share the knowledge learned and better accept the differences when in contact with other citizens who have hearing impairments. In addition to better welcoming students who arrive at school and who have such deficiencies.
