Resumo: | Environmental issues are increasingly relevant, and the application of reverse logistics makes it possible to take actions to contain some of these problems, especially regarding the disposal of used cooking oil, where many people, after preparing food, discard the residual frying oil in inappropriate places, often causing irreversible damage to the environment, especially when it is thrown directly into the sewer system, which can cause blockages, requiring the use of toxic chemical products, which aggravates the problem even further. Reverse logistics is one of the facets of organizational logistics responsible for enabling the return of products through post-sales and post-consumption, in order to recover value by correctly disposing of them. After its use, the cooking oil element of the discussion of this article can become another important product for society and the environment, being a raw material for the creation of soap in stone, without causing degradation to the environment or even significantly reducing its negative impacts such as water contamination, even generating income and employment. As research methodology, case study and exploratory research were used, as well as a questionnaire where it was possible to generate a quantitative research on the subject. Although as pointed out in the survey, many people know the importance and possibility of income generation by correctly disposing of this type of waste, they end up not doing it and disposing of it incorrectly, harming the entire ecosystem. |
