Music in education: a possibility to be expanded in the national scenario

Resumo: Through many educational perspectives that we are inserted in, this article aims to verify the use of music as a pedagogical tool in basic education. For this, a bibliographic search was carried out, using content analysis as the main work methodology. This analysis used as basis the articles published in journals registered in the Capes database with qualis A1, in the education and teaching divisions, from 2013 to 2016. We found 42 articles, published in 32 different journals involving music in all areas of knowledge. The vast majority of productions were by national authors. Thus we can conclude that music, despite showing a promising character in education, and although it has permeated the educational system since the last century, it is still not used effectively to articulate and promote transdisciplinary teaching and learning in an effective way, as pedagogical resource.

Para ello, se realizó una búsqueda bibliográfica, utilizando el análisis de contenido como metodología principal de trabajo. Este análisis utilizó como base los artículos publicados en revistas registradas con qualis A1, en las divisiones de educación y enseñanza, de 2013 a 2016. Encontramos 42 artículos, publicados en 32 revistas diferentes relacionadas con la música en todas las áreas del conocimiento. La gran mayoría de las producciones fueron de autores nacionales. Por lo tanto, podemos concluir que la música, a pesar de mostrar un carácter prometedor en la educación, y aunque ha impregnado el sistema educativo desde el siglo pasado, todavía no se usa de manera efectiva para articular y promover la enseñanza y el aprendizaje transdisciplinarios de manera efectiva, como recurso pedagógico.Mediante muitas perspectivas educacionais que estamos inseridos, o presente artigo tem como objetivo verificar o uso da música como ferramenta pedagógica na educação básica. Para tanto, foi realizada uma pesquisa bibliográfica, utilizando a análise de conteúdos como principal metodologia de trabalho. Essa análise usou como base os artigos publicados em periódicos registrados com qualis A1, na Base de Dados da Capes nas áreas de educação e ensino, no período de 2013 a 2016. Encontramos 42 artigos, publicados em 32 periódicos diferentes envolvendo a música em todas as áreas do conhecimento. A grande maioria das produções foram de autores nacionais.
