The teacher training in the first Licentiate Course in Rural Education with qualification in Music of Brazil: reflections and ponderations

Resumo: | This paper aims to reflect on the music teaching in pedagogical experiences involving teacher training in the Licentiate course in Rural Education with Qualification in Arts and Music, of the Federal University of Tocantins (UFT), campus Tocantinópolis, State of Tocantins, Brazil. Therefore, we search in the literature for some studies that focus is the phenomenon of education in the perspective of Music Education in dialogue with Rural Education. The research is of bibliographic nature and qualitative-interpretative approach. The research results show that, as teachers, we need to know how to reflect in the search for the construction of a more humanized teaching practice that is sensitive to the relationships between people and music. For that, it is up to educators to promote not only the acquisition of knowledge, but especially awareness, sensitiveness and desire for transformation in the teaching-learning process. Musical Education in the perspective of the field, therefore, can be seen beyond the boundaries established by Eurocentrism, conceiving new educational possibilities and leading us to a musical formation that is beyond music, where we can inhabit the Brazilian countryside, without subjugating it by our knowledge’s. |

Para tanto, buscamos na literatura alguns estudos que tratam do fenômeno da educação na perspectiva da Educação Musical em diálogo com a Educação do Campo. Trata-se de uma pesquisa de natureza bibliográfica, de abordagem qualitativo-interpretativista. Os resultados da pesquisa mostram que, enquanto professores, necessitamos saber refletir em busca da construção de uma prática docente mais humanizada, que esteja sensível às relações entre as pessoas e a música. Para tanto, cabe aos educadores promover não só a aquisição de conhecimento, mas, especialmente, conscientização, sensibilização e desejo por transformação no processo ensino-aprendizagem.
