Teacher training and work through institutional teaching initiation scholarship program

Resumo: In this article, we highlighted characteristics of the training and teaching work processes, in the context of the Institutional Program for Teaching Initiation Scholarships (Pibid), which matters in the qualification process of teacher training and which occurs within the scope of Mathematics Degree courses, from qualitative research supported by textual discursive analysis of productions, 26 theses and dissertations. The characteristics of Pibid does not only contributes to the student’s permanence in the Degree course, but also proposes an investigative scenario and can provide an increase in interest in the teaching area, as well as transformations in practices, questioning his own knowledge and the knowledge of the practice of others. This is not an investigation aimed only at discoveries, but also towards a critical attitude towards the context in which it is inserted. The initiation scholarship holder is therefore allowed to problematize the context and consider the knowledge produced at the academy and the knowledge produced at school in the foreground. Pibid is an educational policy, which has the potential to improve teaching and learning, leads to an investigative process and consequently becomes an education for democracy.

Las características del Pibid no sólo contribuyen a la permanencia del estudiante en el curso de licenciatura, sino que también proponen un escenario de investigación y pueden propiciar el aumento del interés en el área de la enseñanza, así como transformaciones de las prácticas, problematizando el conocimiento propio y el conocimiento de la práctica de otros. No se trata de una investigación dirigida sólo a los descubrimientos, sino también a una postura crítica ante el contexto en el que se inserta. Por lo tanto, se permite al becario problematizar el contexto y considerar en primer plano los conocimientos producidos en la academia y los producidos en la escuela. Pibid es una política educativa, que tiene el potencial de mejorar la enseñanza y el aprendizaje, conduce a un proceso de investigación y, en consecuencia, se convierte en una educación para la democracia.Neste artigo, destacamos características de formação e trabalho docente, no contexto do Programa Institucional de Bolsa de Iniciação à Docência (Pibid), que importam no processo de qualificação da formação de professores e que ocorre no âmbito dos cursos de Licenciatura em Matemática, a partir de pesquisa qualitativa apoiada pela análise textual discursiva de produções, 26 teses e dissertações. As características do Pibid não resumem em apenas contribuir para a permanência do aluno no curso de Licenciatura, mas também propõe um cenário investigativo e pode propiciar o aumento do interesse pela área de ensino, assim como transformações das práticas, problematizando o seu próprio conhecimento e o conhecimento da prática de outros. Não se trata de uma investigação direcionada apenas para descobertas, mas também para uma postura crítica diante do contexto no qual está inserido. Ao bolsista de iniciação à docência é permitido, portanto problematizar o contexto e considerar os conhecimentos produzidos na academia e os produzidos na escola em primeiro plano.
