Gamification strategies for the theoretical teaching of handball in Higher Education

Resumo: | The study aimed to investigate the contributions of gamification strategies to the teaching of the handball component, for Physical Education students. This is an exploratory descriptive research, with pedagogical intervention methodology. The methodological procedure was organized in three moments: previous knowledge, pedagogical interventions and evaluation. The results showed that the students had previous handball experiences, but were unaware of the concept of gamification. The development of gamification strategies contributed to the teaching-learning process of students based on questions that facilitate learning, clarity in the explanations of the content and aid in the fixation of the students. |

Se trata de una investigación descriptiva exploratoria, con metodología de intervención pedagógica. El procedimiento metodológico se organizó en tres momentos: conocimientos previos, intervenciones pedagógicas y evaluación. Los resultados mostraron que los estudiantes tenían experiencias previas de balonmano, pero desconocían el concepto de gamificación. El desarrollo de estrategias de gamificación contribuyó al proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de los estudiantes basado en preguntas que facilitan el aprendizaje, claridad en las explicaciones de los contenidos y ayuda en la fijación de los estudiantes.O estudo teve por objetivo investigar as contribuições de estratégias de gamificação ao ensino do componente handebol, para acadêmicos de Educação Física. Trata-se de uma pesquisa descritiva exploratória, com metodologia de intervenção pedagógica. O procedimento metodológico foi organizado em três momentos: conhecimentos prévios, intervenções pedagógicas e avaliação. Os resultados demonstraram que os discentes possuíam vivências prévias no handebol, mas desconheciam o conceito de gamificação.
