Knowledge of the interprofessional team about child autism

Resumo: Autism is characterized as a neurodevelopmental syndrome, and many individuals who are diagnosed with autism present ineffective communication, and their movements, activities and interests are more repetitive, and have more aggressive behavior. The autistic has many characteristics, such as lack of social interaction, difficulties in maintaining relationships with other people and with their own family, end up isolating themselves and living their world and not realizing the reality that surrounds them. The objective was to analyze the knowledge of the interprofessional team about autistic disorder. This is an exploratory, descriptive study with a qualitative approach that used as a technical procedure data collection and cross-sectional field study. For analysis of the data was through the analysis of content of Bardin. The results showed that most of the professionals consider autism as a neurological disorder, with impairment in communication and social interaction, 90% of the participants have already cared for the autistic being highlighted the lack of preparation for attendance, lack of interprofessional interaction and the parents' unpreparedness for care. The stimulation of the child for its development was emphasized as an important factor. We conclude that it is fundamental that the interprofissioanl team has an effective relationship and helps and accompanies the child as well as the family in each situation lived, observing the family structure.

El autista, posee muchas características, como la falta de interacción social, dificultades para mantener relaciones con otras personas y con su propia familia, acaban aislándose y viviendo su mundo y no percibiendo la realidad que los rodea. El objetivo fue analizar el conocimiento del equipo interprofesional acerca del trastorno autístico. Se trata de un estudio exploratorio, descriptivo, con abordaje cualitativo que se utilizó como procedimiento técnico el levantamiento de datos y estudio de campo de forma transversal. Para el análisis de los datos fue a través del análisis de contenido de Bardin. Los resultados demostraron que la mayoría de los profesionales consideran el autismo como un trastorno de orden neurológico, con perjuicio en la comunicación e interacción social, el 90% de los participantes ya realizaron cuidado al autista siendo destacado la falta de preparación para la asistencia, falta de interacción interprofesional y el despreparo de los padres para el cuidado. La estimulación del niño para su desarrollo fue destacada como factor importante. Concluimos que es fundamental que el equipo interprofissioanl tenga una relación efectiva y auxilie y acompañe al niño, así como a la familia en cada situación vivida, observando la estructura familiar.Autismo é caracterizado como uma síndrome do neurodesenvolvimento, e muitos indivíduos que são diagnosticados com autismo apresentam comunicação ineficaz e seus movimentos, atividades e interesses são mais repetitivos, e possuem comportamento mais agressivo. O autista possui muitas características, como a falta de interação social, dificuldades de manter relações com outras pessoas e com a sua própria família, acabam se isolando e vivendo o seu mundo e não percebendo a realidade que os cerca. O objetivo foi analisar o conhecimento da equipe interprofissional acerca do transtorno autístico. Trata-se de um estudo exploratório, descritivo, com abordagem qualitativa; utilizou-se como procedimento técnico o levantamento de dados e estudo de campo de forma transversal. Para análise dos dados utilizou-se a análise de conteúdo de Bardin. Os resultados demonstraram que a maioria dos profissionais consideram o autismo como um distúrbio de ordem neurológica, com prejuízo na comunicação e interação social; 90% dos participantes já realizaram cuidado ao autista, sendo destacado a falta de preparo para a assistência, falta de interação interprofissional e o despreparo dos pais para o cuidado. A estimulação da criança para o seu desenvolvimento foi salientada como fator importante.
