Vision of the preceptors on preparedness and hosting of the graduation student in primary health care

Resumo: | This study aimed to verify the vision of preceptors about the preceptory and the reception of undergraduate students in Primary Health Care (PHC). A descriptive-exploratory qualitative study was carried out with preceptors from the PHC health services of the North District / Baltazar Hub of Porto Alegre / RS. It was approved by the Ethics Committee of the Federal University of Health Sciences of Porto Alegre and the Municipal Health Department of Porto Alegre. The sample consisted of 31 preceptors. The preceptors were from nursing, pharmacy, speech therapy and nutrition courses. The information was collected individually through a semi-structured questionnaire, with closed and open questions. The data of the study were evaluated according to the content analysis of the thematic type. The study showed that 93% of respondents are satisfied to perform the preceptory. They reported difficulties and facilities regarding the reception of students. Difficulties can negatively impact the academic performance of trainees in PHC. It is important that the preceptor has subsidies for a qualified teaching, such as training, permanent meetings with teachers, among others. In this way the student will have a good use of the stage that to realize. |

Se realizó un estudio cualitativo descriptivo-exploratorio con preceptores de los servicios de salud de la APS de la Gerencia Distrital Norte / Eje Baltazar de Porto Alegre / RS. Fue aprobado por el Comité de Ética de la Universidad Federal de Ciencias de la Salud de Porto Alegre y de la Secretaría Municipal de Salud de Porto Alegre. La muestra fue de 31 preceptores. Los preceptores eran de los cursos de enfermería, farmacia, fonoaudiología y nutrición. La información fue recogida individualmente a través de un cuestionario semiestructurado, con preguntas cerradas y abiertas. Los datos del estudio se evaluaron según el análisis de contenido del tipo temático. El estudio mostró que el 93% de los encuestados están satisfechos en desempeñar la preceptoria. Informaron las dificultades y facilidades en relación a la acogida de los estudiantes. Las dificultades pueden impactar negativamente sobre el rendimiento de los académicos en las etapas en la APS. Es importante que el preceptor tenga subsidios para una preceptoria calificada, como formación, reuniones permanentes con los docentes, entre otros. De este modo el estudiante tendrá un buen aprovechamiento de la etapa que realizar.Esse estudo objetivou verificar a visão dos preceptores acerca da preceptoria e do acolhimento dos estudantes de graduação na Atenção Primária à Saúde (APS). Foi realizado estudo qualitativo descritivo-exploratório com preceptores dos serviços de saúde da APS da Gerência Distrital Norte/Eixo Baltazar de Porto Alegre/RS. Foi aprovado pelo Comitê de Ética da Universidade Federal de Ciências da Saúde de Porto Alegre e da Secretaria Municipal de Saúde de Porto Alegre. A amostra foi de 31 preceptores. Os preceptores eram dos cursos de enfermagem, farmácia, fonoaudiologia e nutrição. As informações foram coletadas individualmente através de questionário semi-estruturado, com questões fechadas e abertas. Os dados do estudo foram apreciados conforme a análise de conteúdo do tipo temática. O estudo mostrou que 93% dos pesquisados estão satisfeitos em desempenhar a preceptoria. Relataram as dificuldades e facilidades em relação ao acolhimento dos estudantes. As dificuldades podem impactar negativamente sobre o rendimento dos acadêmicos nos estágios na APS. É importante que o preceptor tenha subsídios para uma preceptoria qualificada, como formação, reuniões permanentes com os docentes, dentre outros.
