The impact of the pandemic on metal health and on child neuropsychomotor development: group play as a possible intervention strategy in primary health care

Resumo: The Covid-19 pandemic and state determinations of social isolation as a way to contain the disease negatively impacted the mental health, learning and development of children. In this way, after the pandemic period, it was possible to identify an increase in children referred to the Expanded Family Health Center (EFHC) of a Primary Health Care Center in Brasília-DF due to delays in neuropsychomotor development. Taking into account the high demand and the potential of early intervention to obtain positive effects on child development, the organization of a group was identified as a powerful strategy for coping with the presented problem. The main objective of this article is to report the experience of planning and executing an intervention strategy developed in Primary Health Care with the intention of improving the problems identified in daily professional life. of the study design process. From the application of the intervention project, it is concluded that the proposed objectives were achieved, obtaining successful experiences in the scenario where the problems were identified.

De esta forma, después del período de la pandemia, fue posible identificar un aumento de niños derivados al Centro Ampliado de Salud de la Familia (NASF) de una Unidad Básica de Salud en Brasilia-DF debido a retrasos en el desarrollo neuropsicomotor. Teniendo en cuenta la alta demanda y el potencial de la intervención temprana para obtener efectos positivos en el desarrollo infantil, se identificó la celebración de un grupo como una estrategia potente para el enfrentamiento del problema presentado. El objetivo principal de este artículo es relatar la experiencia de planificación y ejecución de una estrategia de intervención desarrollada en la Atención Primaria de Salud con la intención de mejorar los problemas identificados en el día a día profesional del proceso de diseño del estudio. De la aplicación del proyecto de intervención se concluye que se lograron los objetivos propuestos, obteniendo experiencias exitosas en el escenario donde se identificaron los problemas.A pandemia da Covid-19 e as determinações estatais de isolamento social como forma de contenção da doença impactaram de maneira negativa a saúde mental, a aprendizagem e o desenvolvimento das crianças. Dessa forma, após o período pandêmico, foi possível identificar o aumento de crianças encaminhadas ao atendimento do Núcleo Ampliado de Saúde da Família (NASF) de uma Unidade Básica de Saúde em Brasília-DF devido a atrasos no desenvolvimento neuropsicomotor. Levando em consideração a alta demanda e a potencialidade da intervenção precoce para se obter efeitos positivos no desenvolvimento infantil, a realização de um grupo foi identificada enquanto uma estratégia potente para enfrentamento do problema apresentado. O presente artigo tem como principal objetivo relatar a experiência do planejamento e execução de estratégia de intervenção desenvolvida na Atenção Primária à Saúde na intenção de melhoria das problemáticas identificadas no cotidiano profissional e, para isso, foi utilizada a metodologia da problematização, utilizando o Arco de Maguerez como norteador do processo de elaboração do estudo.
